Chapter 320: The Era of the Douluo God Realm – Part X: Consequences

Ye Wen, having pushed himself and Gu Yuena to their limits in their heated embrace, finally slowed, surprising her just as she was on the verge of losing herself completely.

Holding her close, he whispered sternly into her ear, "I'm angry with you." With a shift in focus, they appeared suddenly in a familiar yet seldom visited room Na'er's.

Placing Gu Yuena on the bed, Ye Wen turned and walked toward another figure on the other side of the room: Na'er, whose bewildered eyes mirrored innocence, yet now held a flicker of apprehension.

Caught off guard for the third time that day, Na'er felt a mix of nervousness and confusion. She couldn't deny the inexplicable feelings that arose whenever Ye Wen and Gu Yuena were together. In her quiet heart, jealousy and uncertainty churned, leaving her frustrated.

Just as she was at the peak of these emotions, however, her racing heart suddenly steadied. She watched, wide eyed, as her father and Gu Yuena materialized beside her, with Ye Wen's gaze fixed intently on her. A blush crept onto her face, and her thoughts grew scattered, even as the reality of the situation began to dawn on her.

"D Dad…" she stammered, her voice trembling with apprehension as he approached.

Without giving her a chance to withdraw, Ye Wen climbed onto the bed, gently pressing Na'er's shoulders to prevent her from retreating. Her eyes darted away from him nervously, but he gently tilted her face, forcing their gazes to meet. In his eyes, she saw a mixture of frustration, understanding, and an immense tenderness that left her heart racing.

"Na'er," he murmured, his voice soft yet firm. "Tell me honestly. Do you really feel the way Gu Yuena said?"

Na'er froze, her heart nearly stopping. She desperately wanted to deny it, but her voice failed her.

Ye Wen sighed, sensing her hesitation. Na'er, usually so composed, was flustered and vulnerable, struggling to speak her mind. Wrapping his arms around her, he held her close, offering comfort as she grappled with her feelings.

"It's all right, Na'er. You have nothing to fear. Whatever happens, you're my precious girl. Your future should be yours to choose, no matter what."

As he reassured her, Na'er's racing heart finally calmed, and she sank into his embrace, breathing in his familiar, soothing scent.

On the other side of the room, Gu Yuena watched the scene unfold, a small flicker of jealousy stirring within her. But she quickly pushed it aside, resigning herself to the scene before her. After all, Ye Wen was the one who held this family together.

As the atmosphere grew warmer, Na'er, gradually finding her voice, whispered softly, "I… I love being with you, Dad."

Ye Wen smiled, his heart brimming with affection. "I love you too, Na'er," he replied. Then, letting go of his reservations, he finally allowed himself to share the bond that had been waiting quietly between them. Though initially uncertain, Na'er quickly found joy in the shared connection. Her worries melted away, leaving only a newfound sense of closeness.

With Na'er now peacefully resting beside him, Ye Wen looked over at Gu Yuena, who appeared more frustrated than ever. He chuckled softly, amused by her reaction.

Pulling Gu Yuena close, he teleported the two of them back to her own room. But as she looked at him, her eyes pleading with desperation, he leaned close and whispered, "Did you really think I'd let you off the hook so easily, Gu Yuena?"

Confusion and frustration mingled on her face as he placed a gentle seal on her. The restraint left her sensitive, yet unable to seek release.

"This is your punishment," he told her. "For not telling me sooner, and for letting Na'er suffer all this time. I'm only giving you a small taste of what she's been through. One month, Gu Yuena one month to reflect on what you put her through."

For the first time, Gu Yuena felt genuinely flustered, her resolve faltering. She hadn't anticipated this outcome but knew Ye Wen's actions were justified. Reluctantly, she nodded in agreement, resigning herself to the terms of his punishment.

The following days brought unexpected changes to their family. Ye Wen didn't reveal the new relationship between him and Na'er to anyone else, keeping it their own private reality. But freed from her former restraint, Na'er began to open up and express herself more, her confidence blooming. She grew closer to Ye Wen with each passing day, her presence at his side becoming constant.

However, it was not only Gu Yuena who struggled in the aftermath. Ye Wen found himself almost overwhelmed by Na'er's insatiable energy. Every night, she eagerly sought his company, making up for lost time, and he couldn't help but indulge her.

After a month, though Na'er's cheeks shone with health and happiness, both Ye Wen and Gu Yuena found themselves worn out, their exhaustion visible.

Finally, Ye Wen gathered both women before him, his expression serious yet affectionate. "From now on, I want you both to support each other as family. No more competition. You're both important to me, and we'll get through this together."

Both women exchanged looks, a newfound understanding passing between them.
