Chapter 337: The Douluo God Realm Era Part XXVII: Establishing the God Realm
As time passed, Ye Wen began refining his design for the God Realm, deciding to replace the initial "Outer Heaven" core layer with a new layer named Taichu Heaven. This preserved the foundational twelve layered framework of the realm while adding a unique core structure that Ye Wen cleverly positioned within the space of the world consciousness.
The space containing the God Realm's core was inaccessible to anyone without specific permission no matter their strength. In a manner similar to how a secure local network was isolated from a broader internet, Ye Wen's newly built God Realm was protected by access restrictions. Even powerful God Kings were denied entry without authorization, safeguarding the realm's central core to an unprecedented degree. With the world consciousness itself acting as a guardian, any potential threat would be reported immediately, ensuring no enemy could infiltrate unnoticed.
When the God Realm finally completed its construction, Ye Wen summoned all the True Gods to celebrate. Positioned at the core of the Douluo star system, the God Realm's placement allowed it to interact perfectly with Douluo's gravitational field. This strategic design not only minimized its operational costs but also ensured its stability, anchoring it within this universe and shielding it from unexpected spacetime disturbances.
With the God Realm's activation, the faith energy collected from Ye Wen's conquered star systems, previously distributed over various locations, began converging toward this center, reminiscent of the heavenly palaces from his former life's legends. Ye Wen couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment; this was his creation, crafted from the ground up.
Meanwhile, Ye Wen and Snow Empress welcomed their newborn daughter, whom he named Ye Tianxue. Simple yet fitting, the name filled his family with joy. Her older siblings many of whom, though thousands of years old, were still bachelors adored her and lavished her with care.
Of course, not everyone was entirely pleased. Na'er and Na'er, while happy for the family's new addition, began to feel pangs of jealousy. They had arrived in Ye Wen's life first, yet others had now claimed the role of mothers before them. This shift was a challenge to their place in the family. So, after a bit of consultation with Ye Wen's other wives, the two of them took matters into their own hands, pulling Ye Wen into their rooms for a century long "discussion."
In the end, after years of hard work and patience, both Na'er and Na'er finally achieved what they had longed for they were each expecting children. Ye Wen could hardly believe it; even as a god, a century of daily dedication could wear down anyone. But as he observed the radiant glow of impending motherhood in both of them, Ye Wen felt a sense of relief.
After another year, Na'er gave birth to a son, whom Ye Wen named Ye Tianluo, representing strength and omnipotence. The name symbolized Ye Wen's hope for his son to be as resilient as a heavenly net, protecting all within it.
But unlike Na'er, who delivered within a year, Na'er's pregnancy stretched on longer. Although her belly swelled slightly over time, she showed no signs of an imminent birth. While unusual, no one worried; Na'er was a dignified human in appearance, but her true form was that of a Silver Dragon King, the queen of dragons. Long gestation periods were natural for dragons, but the duration continued extending beyond even typical dragon norms. It took a millennium before Na'er finally laid a silver dragon egg.
Ye Wen was both amused and mildly embarrassed as he looked upon the dragon egg. He had imagined welcoming his child directly, but it turned out he would have to wait until the egg hatched. He chuckled to himself, noting how peculiar the whole situation seemed Na'er, a dragon, laying an egg, while Na'er had delivered a child naturally. "Scientific consistency," he mused, "seems optional in the divine realm."
Nevertheless, whether his child would be a hybrid or something else entirely, Ye Wen adored them all the same. And, being gods, there was no need for traditional egg incubation; the egg was carefully placed in a high tech, temperature controlled chamber, allowing Ye Wen to monitor the powerful, burgeoning life within.
Observing the energies swirling within the egg, Ye Wen was astonished. The energy levels inside were astounding, nearly at the level of a high ranking God Officer. If not for the limitations of the child's nascent godhead, they might have been born as a full fledged Level 3 God.
As he pondered, a thought struck Ye Wen. "Na'er," he asked, "wouldn't our child develop some awareness before fully maturing, only to then hatch when completely formed?"
Na'er, who was finally free from her pregnancy, relaxed and thought for a moment before nodding. "Yes, our children are born with an inherent awareness that grows as they develop, breaking through once they're fully ready. Why do you ask?"
A glimmer of curiosity flashed in Ye Wen's eyes. "What if I shared my godhead with the child? Could it help them reach Level 3 or even Level 2 right upon hatching?"
Na'er paused, surprised by the idea. The child's limitations so far had been merely the lack of a fully empowered godhead, which could easily be provided with the resources they had. As for concerns over discipline, well, any rebellion would be quickly handled no child could get away with mischief in a family full of god kings.
Deep in thought, Na'er evaluated the potential of Ye Wen's plan, considering their child's unique nature. The Silver Dragon King's divine creative powers had revealed to Na'er that the child's energy was indeed an exceptional blend of multiple original elements all originating from Ye Wen's power.
In fact, with his immense capabilities and an inclusive godhead surpassing even the old Dragon God, Ye Wen was the ideal figure for their child to follow.
Seeing Na'er's expression shift to a thoughtful determination, Ye Wen's idea found a warm welcome in her heart.
