Chapter 412 - Chapter 413: Visitors from Another Time and Space

Chapter 413: Visitors from Another Time and Space

With the Myoboku Mountain battle behind them, the Han Realm finally welcomed a true era of peace. However, the thirst for power in the supernatural world remained insatiable. Due to the low entry barrier and effectiveness of the Dou Qi system, more and more people in the Han Realm began their cultivation journey.

At this time, Naruto Uzumaki had graduated from the First Dou Qi Academy of Konoha, becoming a genuine Dou Qi Sequence Stage Three Great Fighter.

(Note: This isn't Dou Po Cangqiong. The ranks go from Fighter Stage 1 to 9, then Fighter, Great Fighter, Dou Spirit, Dou King, Dou Emperor, Dou Ancestor, Dou Venerable, and Dou Saint.)

"Alright! Today, I'm going to finish ten missions and earn a ton of money!"

Thanks to Ye Wen's intervention, Naruto's life had been spared the hardship of a miserable childhood. But due to the influence of Asura's chakra, he remained optimistic and upbeat.

Although the Nine Tails still harbored a grudge against the Han Realm, years of grudges hadn't been enough for it to openly accept Naruto. The Nine Tails' internal meddling prevented Naruto from advancing to Dou Qi Stage Five, Dou King. But even at Stage Three, Naruto's power now rivaled that of an elite Jounin.

Though the era of ninjas had ended, some challenges remained that ordinary people could not handle. As a result, Dou Qi practitioners naturally inherited the jobs that ninjas had once taken on. Today, Naruto Uzumaki was a proud, entry level adventurer.

"Mom, I'm heading out."

"Be careful," responded Kushina Uzumaki warmly from the kitchen.

Meanwhile, Minato Namikaze, who had been reading on the couch, sighed, folded up his newspaper, donned his gear, and stealthily followed his son. Thanks to Dou Qi cultivation, Minato still looked like he was in his twenties.

"Lord Hanhaishen said the target would appear around this time and told me to keep an eye out. But there's been no sign of it at all…"

Still, Minato wasn't in a rush. With his family safe and complete, he had little desire for anything else. Watching Naruto cheerfully complete his tasks was a joy in itself.

Just as Minato quietly observed Naruto's growth, he suddenly frowned.

In terms of talent for space time jutsu, Minato Namikaze was unmatched in the entire ninja world.

"This space time fluctuation… it's not a summoning technique, nor any kind of space time jutsu I know."

Following protocol, Minato immediately pressed an alert button to call for backup.

Recognizing the nearby residential area, he knew he couldn't allow this sudden, unknown entity to wreak havoc or cause civilian casualties.

Flying Thunder God!

Throwing a Flying Thunder God kunai, Minato instantly appeared above the source of the spatial distortion and locked onto two figures who were completely out of place in this era.

"This presence chakra!"

Having identified his targets, Minato dropped another kunai and teleported behind the two, placing a hand on each of their shoulders.

!?

Before the two could react, all three vanished from Konoha's bustling streets.

Now in the Forest of Death.

Upon relocating them, Minato immediately put some distance between himself and the two. Based on information from Ye Wen, he knew they weren't enemies, but caution never hurt Minato's training as a former elite Jounin had made him vigilant.

At this point, the future Sasuke, with only one arm, finally regained his senses. He stared solemnly at Minato's familiar face.

"The Fourth Hokage? How are you here? Wait, you're not Edo Tensei you're the living Fourth Hokage!" Sasuke exclaimed.

Boruto Uzumaki was stunned, then blurted out, "Wha?! Old Man!"

"Hello. Are you Konoha ninja from another time and space?" Minato's signature gentle expression appeared as he asked.

Although neither Boruto nor Sasuke understood why Minato was still alive, it was clear he wasn't an enemy, and he seemed to already know their identities. Sasuke nodded respectfully.

"Yes, Fourth Hokage."

Minato nodded; this scenario matched the information he'd received. He then looked at Boruto, whose face, with its two whisker marks on each cheek, really did resemble Naruto's.

However, Minato understood these visitors came from a different time space and didn't necessarily represent his own future. His master Jiraiya's life served as a cautionary tale, so Minato wasn't overly welcoming.

"I'm generally aware of the situation, but your identities are sensitive. Please avoid any rash actions. Also, I'm no longer the Fourth Hokage; you can just call me Minato Namikaze."

"Understood." The present Sasuke, now mature and composed, nodded in agreement.

However, Boruto felt slightly uncomfortable. In his view, Minato should have greeted him warmly, just like his grandfather Hiashi. Yet, the restrained reception left him feeling puzzled.

Just then, Sasuke leaned over and whispered to Boruto.

"Be careful. This time space is quite different from ours some unpredictable change seems to have happened."

Deep in thought, Sasuke recalled his glimpse of the Hokage Rock, where he'd seen only five faces. But the face of the Fifth Hokage wasn't the Tsunade he remembered instead, it was the familiar visage of Kakashi.

With curiosity piqued, Sasuke asked Minato, "Lord Namikaze, what year is it currently in Konoha?"

The question caught Minato off guard for a moment, as the ninja world had long adopted the Han Realm's new calendar system. But, calculating quickly, the "fastest man in the ninja world" soon had an answer.

"Konoha no longer uses that dating system. However, by the old calendar, it would be the 59th year."

Sasuke remained calm, nodding as he confirmed this time space was indeed unusual. By this timeline, he and Naruto had only just graduated a year earlier, and the Third Hokage should still be alive.

Still, the prosperity of Konoha in this world far surpassed his own, sparking his curiosity even more.

"What exactly happened in this world?"

Suddenly, a faint rustling sounded from the trees, and the group sensed someone approaching.

In a flash of lightning, Kakashi appeared at Minato's side.

"Thank you, Sensei."

"No problem; just doing my duty," Minato replied.

After a brief exchange, Kakashi turned his attention to Sasuke and Boruto.

"Uchiha Sasuke, Uzumaki Boruto, am I correct?"

Both nodded, though they wondered how their identities had been revealed.
