"Sixth brother?"
Hearing this title and seeing the five dazzling men and women in front of him, Zeus quickly put two and two together. Weren't these the unfortunate souls devoured by their dear father at birth?
Which meant… the old man writhing on the ground was none other than his cheap father, Kronos.
"I am your eldest sister, Hestia."
The woman at the front had a dignified presence, exuding an air of warmth and authority. Though she lacked a certain blue ribbon, her divine curves were still quite something to behold.
"I... I am Demeter."
The second sister, Demeter, seemed timid, having spent her entire existence inside Kronos' stomach. She had only ever spoken with her siblings, making her both curious and a little terrified of Zeus.
"Hera, your third sister."
Blonde-haired, blue-eyed, and with an arrogance that could crush mountains, Hera had a presence that demanded respect. If she had twintails, she could probably kill with a glance alone—unfortunately, she didn't.
"Hades."
The black-haired man standing to the side radiated a cold and brooding aura. At first glance, he appeared calm, but internally, he was in full panic mode.
His younger brother was a monster—he had bodied their father in an instant. What if that brutal treatment extended to him next?
Hades glanced at Kronos, who was still half-conscious and vomiting on himself, and he felt a shiver run down his spine.
"I am Poseidon. So, sixth brother, how do you plan to deal with our dear father?"
Unlike Hades, Poseidon was the type to roll with the punches. Grinning, he immediately pulled Zeus into a brotherly hug, eager to test his younger sibling's strength.
Now that Kronos was down for the count, this was the perfect time to see just how capable Zeus really was.
But Zeus wasn't in a hurry to kill their father. The Twelve Titans were still out there, and without proper strength, it would be impossible for the six of them to stand against them.
"Killing Kronos would be pointless right now," Hades stated firmly. "Even if we destroy his human form, his divine essence remains. He'll just keep coming back. Our priority should be reclaiming our original forms."
At this, Zeus furrowed his brow. Original form? Human body?
What kind of gods were they? This wasn't Ultraman. Why did they have multiple forms?
"Mother said you were wise, but we need to see it for ourselves," Hera said, crossing her arms. "Right now, we are without a home or allies. We need a base."
Zeus sighed.
"Then let's head to Crete," he suggested. "Gaia's protection should be enough to keep us safe while we figure things out."
I swear I said I'd never go back there… But given the circumstances, even a future King of the Gods couldn't escape the Law of True Fragrance.
"As for Father…"
Truthfully, Zeus had no intention of taking on Kronos head-to-head just yet. His magical abilities were decent, but when it came to offense, he was severely lacking.
And if he was weak, how was he supposed to be the main MVP of this war?
Better to release Kronos now and keep that favor in his back pocket for later. If things went south, maybe dear old Dad would show a little mercy.
But he couldn't just let him go too easily.
Zeus glanced at the emetic wine in his hand and smirked.
"Although I'm sparing him, I can't let him off too easily."
With that, he grabbed Kronos' nose, forced his mouth open, and poured the entire bottle down his throat.
The other five immediately stiffened.
A single cup of that stuff had completely incapacitated Kronos earlier. An entire bottle? That might just make him throw up his soul.
And then, to really drive the point home, Zeus kicked Kronos straight into the sea.
The next few minutes were pure poetic justice.
Kronos would vomit, then as soon as he gasped for breath—the sea would force it back down his throat. Then he'd vomit again. And again. And again.
It was the ultimate loop of humiliation.
Poseidon, who had initially been excited to challenge Zeus, took a step back. Demeter teared up, as if she were watching a horror movie.
What kind of insane punishment was this?!
Meanwhile, Zeus clapped his hands together, completely pleased with himself.
"Father, I just saved your life. Surely you can appreciate my filial piety?"
Greek mythology was full of stories about sons killing their fathers, but Zeus? He was breaking the cycle. He was a good Greek youth.
…So why were his siblings looking at him like that?
"Eh? What's with those faces?"
Hestia, Demeter, Hera, Poseidon, and Hades all took a simultaneous step back.
"No reason," Hera coughed. "I just… got a little seasick."
"Yeah, me too," Poseidon quickly added, despite being the future God of the Sea.
"Right… well, sit tight, then. We've got a long trip to Crete ahead of us."
With that, Zeus grabbed a few oars from the horned goat and, with his new siblings rowing alongside him, they made their way to Crete in record time.
The moment they stepped on land—
"Zeus! What did I tell you about running off?! Your father is looking for you—quick, hide!"
Gaia rushed over, clearly alarmed. But when she saw the five people standing behind him, she froze.
"Wait… you actually used the emetic wine to save your siblings?" she muttered in disbelief. "And this fast?"
She had assumed Zeus stole the wine to sneak off somewhere, so she had bluffed Rhea into thinking he was off on some grand rescue mission.
But he actually did it?
Gaia's eyes gleamed. Truly, the son of prophecy.
Before she could say more, an unexpected voice echoed through the air.
"Oh~~ gathered your siblings already? I knew you'd be quick, son of prophecy."
A young man with short black hair stood before them, exuding an aura of quiet amusement.
Somehow, he had been waiting there the whole time.
