Taking a deep breath, Tōsen Kaname managed to regain his composure. "Captain Uchiha's strength is truly remarkable. I will seek further instruction from you in the future. I will spare this boy, but I must take Rukia Kuchiki, the criminal, back to Soul Society. I trust you won't interfere, Captain Uchiha." He was attempting to salvage the situation.
Yusuke sighed. "Since Rukia Kuchiki is guilty, I won't stop you from returning her to Soul Society." He was choosing not to intervene.
Ichigo Kurosaki and Rukia Kuchiki's expressions changed upon hearing their exchange.
Rukia Kuchiki showed relief; Ichigo Kurosaki's safety was her priority. A captain-level Shinigami like Yusuke wouldn't oppose Soul Society for her sake. She was resigned to her fate.
Ichigo Kurosaki, however, looked anxious. He knew the so-called "extreme punishment" wasn't a joke; Rukia Kuchiki's life might be in danger. He was worried.
Rukia Kuchiki looked at Yusuke and asked, "Captain Yusuke, do you also believe I deserve the extreme punishment?" She was seeking reassurance.

For a moment, Rukia Kuchiki thought she saw the night sky reflected in Yusuke's glasses. But upon blinking, she realized it was likely a trick of the light.
Tōsen Kaname opened a dimensional portal using equipment provided by the Technical Development Bureau. He picked up the still-fallen Shūhei Hisagi with one hand and grabbed Rukia Kuchiki's arm with the other, walking towards the portal.
"Ichigo, goodbye," Rukia Kuchiki said, offering a sad smile to Ichigo Kurosaki.
She believed this was their last meeting, choosing to part with a smile.
Severely injured, Ichigo Kurosaki called out to Rukia Kuchiki, desperately trying to stand and pursue her, but he lacked the strength, watching helplessly as she disappeared.
"Why? What crime did Rukia commit to deserve execution?!"
Ichigo Kurosaki roared in frustration and anger, filled with resentment towards Soul Society and even a hint of disappointment towards Yusuke, who had saved him.
After venting his anger, Ichigo Kurosaki gradually calmed down, ashamed of his earlier resentment towards Yusuke.
Regaining some strength, Ichigo Kurosaki used his massive Zanpakutō to support himself and stand.
Looking at Yusuke, who hadn't yet left, Ichigo Kurosaki first expressed his sincere gratitude, then asked gravely, "Sir, what is this 'Sōkyoku execution'? What will happen to Rukia?"
Yusuke's expression froze at being called "Sir."
After a moment, Yusuke composed himself. "It's Soul Society's ultimate punishment. If Rukia Kuchiki faces the Sōkyoku, death awaits her."
Ichigo Kurosaki couldn't accept Soul Society's punishment.
His eyes shone with unwavering determination. "No matter what, I'll go to Soul Society and rescue Rukia!"
After Rukia Kuchiki's transfer to Soul Society, almost everyone around Ichigo Kurosaki lost their memories of her, but those with stronger spiritual power, like Uryū Ishida and Orihime Inoue, retained their memories. Their memories remained intact.

With Kisuke Urahara's assistance, Ichigo Kurosaki learned the name of his Zanpakutō, Zangetsu. Its straight, cleaver-like form changed to a curved blade, and he mastered his signature technique, Getsuga Tenshō. He was growing stronger.
Kisuke Urahara's eagerness stemmed from his desire to prevent the Hōgyoku within Rukia Kuchiki from surfacing if she was subjected to the Sōkyoku. He needed to prevent that.
He was almost certain that Aizen had discovered his concealment of the Hōgyoku within Rukia Kuchiki, and that Aizen was the driving force behind the attempt to execute her. He was anticipating Aizen's actions.
Before Aizen's imprisonment, the Soul Society's conflict was essentially a battle between Aizen and Kisuke Urahara. It was a long-standing conflict.
Initially, Kisuke Urahara was in the open, Aizen in the shadows. After Aizen banished Kisuke Urahara from Soul Society, the roles reversed.
