"ROAR!"
The Lava Monarch Mecha seemed determined to compete with the Fiery Nine-Headed Bird Mecha — to see who could kill more. With a thunderous charge, it rushed straight toward the black Azure Wolf Mecha.
The Azure Wolf pilot didn't dare meet it head-on — the sheer power of that thing was terrifying. Taking a direct hit would be suicide. He relied on his superior mobility, darting around nimbly while two cannons flipped up from his back and began firing.
Speed was indeed the Lava Monarch Mecha's weak point — but that was unavoidable. A machine weighing nearly thirty-five tons could never move as lightly as those that weighed barely a tenth of that.
Even so, the Azure Wolf Mecha managed to outmaneuver the Lava Monarch for a while, dodging its strikes and taunting it with sheer agility.
High above, the Fiery Nine-Headed Bird Mecha fired several fireballs downward, raining them toward the wolf to block its movement paths.
The Lava Monarch's boosters flared — its speed surged dramatically. It closed the gap in an instant, arm thrusters igniting as it swung its colossal fist toward the wolf's head.
The Azure Wolf pilot's pupils shrank in terror — he had no time to dodge. That fist grew rapidly larger in his eyes—
BOOM!
The wolf's head exploded into scrap, shards of metal scattering everywhere. That single punch completely scrapped the Azure Wolf Mecha. The pilot inside screamed in agony — the flames coating the Lava Monarch's fist engulfed him, and in that moment, he felt as if he had been thrown alive into molten lava.
"Too… too brutal…" someone whispered, swallowing hard. Even the ongoing battles around them seemed to fade for a moment — everyone was stunned by the sheer destruction.
Tang Wulin, Ye Xinglan, and the others were all wide-eyed, speechless. After the shock came a deep sense of helplessness.
They hadn't expected Yunze to be able to summon such powerful mechas. With monsters like these at his side, how could anyone hope to gang up on him?
Unless they gathered several Title Douluos to encircle him, they'd all just be crushed one by one.
"What a monster…" muttered Cai Yue'er unconsciously, completely shaken by the power Yunze displayed. At the same time, her gaze turned thoughtful — trying to figure out how he had done it, and what was so special about those mechas.
"Your mechas are really impressive," Gu Yuena said sincerely, a smile softening her face. With two mechas comparable to Title Douluos standing guard, their safety was now virtually guaranteed.
"The real danger," Yunze replied calmly, "is only just beginning. Don't relax yet."
The Lava Monarch Mecha returned to his side as he spoke.
"Hm?" Gu Yuena frowned, her silver eyes sharpening. She expanded her spiritual sense, scanning every direction with caution.
Yunze's gaze turned toward the surrounding forest — and toward the sky.The Fiery Nine-Headed Bird Mecha launched several more fireballs, all targeting the areas his eyes had swept across.
"You really are an interesting little brat."
A woman's voice echoed suddenly. At the same time, a wave of immense power erupted from the forest, detonating all the descending fireballs midair in a chain of fiery explosions.
Five figures burst out from the burning trees, soaring through the flames before appearing in the open, not far from Yunze and Gu Yuena.
"You four go support the others," said the woman standing in the center of the group. "Leave these two kids to me."
"Yes, ma'am!" the other four answered respectfully. They each immediately chose a Title Douluo as their opponent.
As their martial souls were released, sinister energy filled the air — every one of them was a nine-ringed Titled Douluo, and all of their martial souls radiated dark, evil auras.
"They… they actually have reinforcements?"The Federation and Star Luo combatants both turned pale.Though the enemy had only five reinforcements, the fact that all five were Titled Douluos made the situation dire.
The four councilors from Sun Moon Royal Academy hurried toward Yunze, intent on aiding him.
But—
"Better worry about yourselves first."
The four evil soul masters moved as one — their chosen targets were precisely the four Sun Moon councilors.
The leading woman — the one facing Yunze — did not rush to attack. Instead, she narrowed her eyes and asked, "You… already discovered us, didn't you?"
She had used an artifact that perfectly concealed their presence.Even the Federation's Titled Douluos hadn't sensed them.By all logic, this child before her should never have been able to notice them.
Yet the way he had looked into the forest just now — it had been the gaze of someone who had already seen through their hiding places.
"Yuntian just told me where you were," Yunze said casually. His tone was nonchalant — but it was clear he said it loud enough for others nearby to hear.
"Yuntian?" The woman instinctively glanced toward the sky, then nodded slowly. If it was that quasi-god-tier powerhouse, it made sense. He could indeed have noticed them.
"For you, boy," she said with a smirk, "we sent six Titled Douluos this time. Even Lord Ghost Emperor herself took action. You should feel honored."
When Gu Yuena finally saw her clearly, she froze. The woman's face — that cold beauty, those sharp, elegant features — looked exactly like her teacher, Leng Yaozhu.
"They… they must be sisters," Gu Yuena thought, her expression tightening.Their resemblance was uncanny — impossible not to notice.
She didn't bring it up, though. Judging by the woman's tone, she clearly intended to kill them. Mentioning Leng Yaozhu's name probably wouldn't change a thing.
Yunze nodded."Six Titled Douluos… I'd say that's some respect indeed. Just not enough. You should've brought a few more."
His tone was so calm that it sounded almost mocking."Otherwise," he continued lightly, "I might have to start thinking about retreating — or worse… about killing you."
The woman blinked, taken aback."What did you just say? You want to kill me?"
Then she laughed aloud, almost pitying him."Hah! I didn't mishear, right? A little brat like you, talking about killing me — a Super Douluo? You must have something wrong with your head."
She tapped her finger against her temple, looking at him as though he were an idiot. This was without question the most ridiculous thing she'd ever heard.A mere child claiming he could kill her? Absurd!
Yunze said nothing.
Instead, the storage ring on his hand flashed — and three golden, circular metal devices appeared before him.
They were soul tools, though oddly shaped — each one like an enormous metallic ring about a meter wide, etched with complex runic patterns.
At their centers shimmered thin, black energy membranes — like portals to somewhere unknown.
A rectangular control panel appeared in Yunze's hand, with three red buttons. He pressed the top one.
Instantly, one of the circular soul tools awakened like a roaring beast — its energy surged outward violently, shaking the air.
The woman's mocking expression froze. Her face turned grim — an overwhelming sense of danger flooded her heart.
"What in the world… is this thing?" she gasped.
Her martial soul flared to life — a black phoenix wreathed in dark fire appeared behind her, radiating an ominous, evil aura.
A crystalline, jet-black three-word battle armor formed around her, gleaming like carved obsidian.
A slender, silver crystal — about a foot long and shaped like a shuttle — materialized in her hand.
It pulsed with silvery light as she poured a massive amount of energy into it, bringing it to the brink of activation.
"SHING!"
From the circular soul tool, five talons shot outward — so fast they were nearly invisible to the naked eye.Mid-flight, each talon expanded to hundreds of meters long, slicing through the air with devastating force.
The razor-sharp claws tore through space itself, leaving behind five gashes of black void.
The energy distortion was so intense that it disrupted the surrounding space, sealing movement and restricting teleportation — ordinary spatial abilities became unusable.
