The guard helped me down gently.
I got down and swiveled towards the temple.
It has changed from the last time I was here, the walls were engraved with stone and beautified with scriptures.
The opening was flanked by imposing stone figures. Their eyes were bright and seemed as if it was watching everyone that approached.
This was not the first time I'd come to the temple but the atmosphere seemed more sacred than before.
The high priestess apprentices were outside. They look excited to see me.
Each had a tray in their hands.
"Welcome Your Majesty." They said and bowed in chorus.
I smiled and waved at them.
The high priestess came out, her dress was adorned with sacred items. She was holding a bowl in her hand and she walked up to me.
"Welcome your Highness. Hope you did not encounter any trouble on your way?" She asked.
"Not at all, high priestess; the way was safe," I replied, and she beamed sweetly.
"Call me Ida."
"Very well."
