"A carrot loaf? What is that?"
The man shrugged once more. "He told me it was a time of cake."
"Who told you that?"
Before Byung-ho could answer, he heard a knock at the door. They both looked in the same direction, and Byung-ho sighed, though Dasom didn't miss the little gleam in his eyes.
He opened the door to reveal Young Master Seo-yoon. Dasom's brows shot up. "Older brother?"
Wooyun ducked his head and saw the fiery redhead already seated at the table. "Dasom," he greeted. "What a surprise."
"I could say the same for you. I didn't know you and Byung-ho were so close."
Wooyun gave her a faint smile. "Yes, well, things happened."
Dasom gave them both suspicious looks as Wooyun sat down. "I brought you another batch. Consider my payment completed." He said.
Byung-ho accepted the basket with an eagerness that Dasom had never seen before. He took out the honey rice cakes Wooyun had carefully made the night before and ate them with gusto. Dasom's eyes hung open.
