Jegal Ryu-sun's heart skipped a beat. This was not the reaction nor the answer he was expecting. His face remained impassive even with the good news. Jegal wondered what he was thinking. "Sorry?"
"Tell them to stand down. We will proceed once the Blood Moon makes a move." He said, returning his attention to the paper.
"I-I see. I'll let them know then." He stood there for a while, and the man finally looked up, eyes questioning.
"Is there anything else?"
"N-No. That is all. I'll let them know." He then took his leave. Behind him, the brush resumed its steady movement, the ink strokes precise and cold.
Now left alone, his mask came undone, and he sighed as he threw his brush. "How tiresome. Just how long will I have to keep up this act?" He wondered to himself.
