Back at the foyer, the incident with the mystic had already stirred up an insane amount of ruckus, niko was anxious because he didnt know what the outcome of Isabella's pregnancy revelation would be, especially because Rafael is so unpredictable...
Niko hints at Isabella to go bag into her room by signaling her with his head movement, she trusted him and she made her way downstairs.
Niko and Rafael were quiet until they confirmed that Isabella was inside her room.
Immediately after they confirmed, Raf asked Niko to kill Isabella and the child.
Niko grew weary, he tried to reason with Rafael, expressing that this could be a good thing for him and for the pack considering that they had been pressing for an heir for ages now, Niko saw this as a perfect opportunity to shut the council and his mother up finally.
He also probed Rafael wanting to find out why he wants to kill the mother and child? His blood line?
Rafael noticed the resistance in Niko's eyes and he said, "it's because you love her isn't it? You think I dont know? I let it slide because I couldnt care less about the bitch but now she's pregnant? Im not interested"
Niko remained quiet and after a while, he asked Rafael, "why do you resist so much brother?"
Rafael grew with rage and snapped, "dont call me brother, not until youve done what ive just asked" He turned and began to leave.
Normally Niko had never defied Rafael, he always did as he was told and so on this day, something broke, Niko stood up to Rafael and said in a very low voice, "NO"
Rafael could not believe what he had just heard, he slowly turned back around, "what did you just say"
Niko replied, "I said NO…I will not kill them"
"Fine…then ill do it myself" Rafael said with a psychotic look on his face as he began to make his way to the basement where Isabella was.
Without thinking, Niko's claws came out and his fangs too...he grabbed Rafael and choked him, slamming him up against the wall while strangling him.
Rafael began to smirk, his own fangs and claws forming as well, both their eyes turned golden yellow and they started to beat each other to a stupor.
They fought so hard that parts of the house gave way, paint chipped, a lamp shattered and a frame fell crashing to the floor.
The sound of them tearing through each other echoed through the hallways like a storm,
Isabella who was downstairs in the basement heard the ruckus and froze, she wondered what the issue was but knew it would be dumb to go out and check, plus she was already very preoccupied, she had just discovered she was pregnant and her head was spinning enough.
Rafael and Niko continued to hit each other, Niko grabbed a knife in a flash and drove it through Rafael's heart.
Rafael laughed even as he sank to one knee, coughing blood, he swept Niko by his feet, sending him sprawling and in a brutal, insane motion he pulled the knife from his own chest and drove it through Niko's side.
They kept repeating the savage moves; stabbing, punching, biting and they were both bleeding so badly that the floor around them darkened, the house smelled like iron.
At one point Rafael grabbed Niko by the neck and spoke to him between ragged breaths, "you know what, you win…dont kill her"
Niko looked surprised. "why the change of heart"
"Because brother, she carries my child, soon I will get attached to her and the child and eventually, might even fall in love" Rafael smirked, spitting blood.
"You know what that means…eventually, they WILL still die by my hands" he laughed with a sound that was empty and dangerous.
Niko's face went pale and was flushed with intense fear.
