Chapter 328 - Chapter 326: Master, Your Beating Was Predestined From the Start (1/5)

Lancer tried to regain control of his spear, but for some reason, it had become fixated on the Enderman. In his consciousness, it was still relentlessly pursuing the creature. In the short time it had taken for him to exchange a few words with Fu Zhu, the two were already several thousand meters away.

It seemed that, for the time being, his spear really wasn't coming back for dinner, just as Fu Zhu had said.

Lancer turned to look at Fu Zhu, a bit exasperated.

"Are you satisfied?"

Fu Zhu nodded. Now he understood. In this world, at least, the mechanics of MC were superior to those of these Heroic Spirits.

Meanwhile, on the other side, Archer had exerted all his effort just to project a crude outline of the Hyperion. Even that had already consumed a great deal of his magical power, and in this abnormal world, he couldn't even get an adequate recharge.

Projecting a more detailed version of the Hyperion would require even more magical power. To conserve his strength for the battles to come, Archer decisively gave up on continuing the projection.

As he abandoned the thought, the half-replicated Hyperion immediately vanished.

Archer turned to Rider, somewhat perplexed.

"Your magical power is enough to support the release of such a powerful Noble Phantasm? Are you perhaps a local Heroic Spirit?"

Rider shook her head and pointed a finger in Fu Zhu's direction.

"All of my magical power comes from my Master. There's an incredibly dense power emanating from him."

"Is that so? How enviable."

After their exchange, Rider also dismissed her Noble Phantasm.

Xing and Saber stood to the side. The former was already starting to feel a bit bored and let out a yawn.

"Old Bro, didn't you say you wanted to speedrun this? Isn't it time to go deal with Scott and Old Oti?"

Fu Zhu nodded. He had called Boothill and Aventurine over purely to satisfy his own curiosity. After all, you don't run into Heroic Spirits every day. If he didn't seize this opportunity, who knew when the next one would be.

"Are you all coming with us?"

Fu Zhu cast his gaze toward Robin, Boothill, and Aventurine.

Aventurine was the first to respond. With a smiling expression, he gave a slight bow, his right hand held before him.

"Since Mr. Fu Zhu has extended the invitation, Aventurine is naturally willing. However, I have just one question I'd like to have answered."

"What is it?"

"What wish do you intend to make upon the Holy Grail?"

Aventurine's eyes were locked on Fu Zhu, awaiting his answer. From the very beginning, he had never believed this Holy Grail could actually grant any wish. If it could, the various factions across the galaxy would have already gone to war over it long ago, instead of allowing everyone to compete in this "playful" manner.

Hearing Aventurine's question, Fu Zhu answered without a moment's hesitation.

"I don't have any wish that needs the Holy Grail to fulfill. Besides, this Holy Grail thing… isn't it for cleaving?"

As he said this, Fu Zhu gave Saber a look that was not quite a smile.

Saber noticed Fu Zhu's glance, and her willow-leaf brows furrowed. It seemed her Master's older brother didn't just know the names of them Servants; could it be that he also knew she had cleaved the Holy Grail in the past?

"No wish…"

Aventurine was a little disappointed. His original plan was that if the Holy Grail couldn't grant Fu Zhu's wish, the Company would step in! He didn't believe the resources of the Company couldn't compare to a measly Holy Grail. If they could help Fu Zhu fulfill his wish, it would definitely be a great boost to their relationship!

Unfortunately… his idea had come to nothing.

"So, are you coming with us? If not…"

Fu Zhu's gaze swept across the crowd. Everyone felt a chill run down their spines. The three Servants almost subconsciously adopted defensive stances. Boothill barely managed to resist the urge to draw the revolver at his hip, but he still held back.

Boothill gave Fu Zhu a strange look. "If we don't go with you, are you planning to just finish us off right here?"

"Of course… not."

Fu Zhu suddenly broke into a smile. Their expressions just now were quite amusing. But he was only trying to spook them to satisfy his own mischievous streak. Since he had no intention of using the Holy Grail to grant a wish, the life or death of a few Heroic Spirits meant nothing to him.

"If you're not coming, then we'll be leaving first."

With that, Fu Zhu grabbed Xing, who was standing beside him, and led his two Servants toward the Grand Theater.

He had previously asked Old Oti for the list of participants, and he had told him that he would be waiting at the Grand Theater, posturing as if he were the final boss. Since that was the case, Fu Zhu would naturally go to meet him.

The only remaining Servant classes yet to appear were Assassin and Berserker. Given how fast Scott had run away earlier, his Servant was likely an Assassin. If it were a Berserker, he wouldn't have fled with only a small group of Dreamjolt Troupe minions.

In that case, it was possible that Old Oti's Servant, Berserker, would be an old acquaintance.

Robin, Aventurine, and Boothill watched Fu Zhu walk away. After exchanging glances, Robin was the first to set off, leading her Servant to follow. Aventurine quickly followed suit.

Boothill, watching the two of them follow so decisively, couldn't help but sigh. In an instant, only he and Lancer were left.

Lancer walked over, looking dejected.

"What's the plan, Master? Are we going or not? But I should warn you, without my weapon, my combat power is a shadow of its former self."

"That doesn't matter. With Fu Zhu involved in this Holy Grail War, the outcome is already set in stone. Let's follow and see what happens. Raising the dead from their graves to start a war… this isn't some fun and games. I'm curious to see what that esteemed head of The Family is really after."

At the same time, in another location, a rather disheveled Scott was staring at a television screen in front of him. On the screen, the image of Fu Zhu's group walking together toward the Grand Theater was clearly displayed.

"Assassin, think of something! There are six of them and six Servants on the other side, how are we supposed to fight that?"

The Assassin beside him looked at Scott's panicked state and shook his head in disappointment.

"Master, as a supporting villain, you shouldn't be so flustered. In the script I've written, the ending is already set. Why not relax, play your part well in every scene, and gain some more popularity as a supporting villain?"

Hearing the Assassin say the ending was already set, Scott's anxious mood eased slightly. He asked with curiosity, "You mean, my victory is already guaranteed?"

"Of course not. Master, since you are the supporting villain, your fate is to get beaten."

"Then why are you telling me to calm down?!"

"Master, getting beaten calmly, or getting beaten while full of anger. Which one will you choose?"
