Seeing Fugaku, Tsunade finally felt a slight sense of relief.

The only thing that could counter the Sharingan was another Sharingan.

No matter what, Fugaku was the head of his clan, so his strength certainly couldn't be too weak. Moreover, he was intimately familiar with the abilities of the Sharingan.

From this perspective, Fugaku and the Konoha Military Police Force's arrival at least ensured she wouldn't be completely branded a "traitor."

Especially since the conflict between Fugaku and Danzo ran even deeper than her own grievances with Danzo.

"What's going on?" Fugaku demanded of Kakashi.

"Danzo possesses a Sharingan… just like me," Kakashi replied.

Fugaku froze, staring at Danzo in shock.

The Sharingan wasn't as "precious" as the Byakugan because an ordinary Sharingan's power was limited—to unleash its true potential, one needed the Mangekyō Sharingan. Another reason was that the Uchiha clan didn't have a cursed seal like the Hyūga's "Caged Bird Seal."

As for why they didn't…

Why even ask?

Of course, it was because the clansmen refused.

But even if the Sharingan wasn't as rare as the Byakugan, that didn't mean just anyone could transplant it.

Kakashi was only able to receive his because Obito had willingly given him his eye. Every Uchiha now despised Danzo—who would ever hand over their eyes to him?

No…

Whether the person was willing or not, the label was the same: unwilling.

Tsunade, the Third Hokage, and Danzo…

If all three of them died here, would the Uchiha clan's future be brighter?

This thought flickered briefly in his mind before he dismissed it.

This wasn't just about one person hating the Uchiha—it was nearly the entire Konoha leadership.

So, dreaming of killing these three and becoming Hokage himself was nothing short of delusional. But seizing this opportunity to gain some advantage? That was possible.

After quickly weighing the outcomes in his mind, Fugaku made his decision—no matter what, Danzo had to die. Only by dismantling Konoha's leadership from within could the Uchiha clan secure a chance to breathe.

"Danzo, what are you trying to do?!" Fugaku immediately turned his hostility toward Danzo the moment he resolved himself.

Tsunade's tense nerves finally relaxed slightly, and she quickly warned Fugaku: "Lord Fugaku, Danzo's right eye is Shisui's Mangekyō Sharingan! The Hokage may be under his genjutsu!"

"What?!" Fugaku was stunned. "Shisui's eye?"

After Uchiha Shisui's death, both of his eyes had gone missing—an incident that had sparked fierce debate within the Uchiha clan.

It was important to remember that Shisui's outstanding performance in the Third Shinobi World War had made him one of the few Uchiha respected by the Hokage. His death had not only erased a crucial buffer between the Uchiha and Konoha but also severely weakened the clan's strength.

The clansmen loathed Konoha's leadership, but with their power diminished, they had no choice but to swallow their fury.

"Danzo, tell me—why do you have Shisui's eye? When his body was found, his eyes were already gone… Did you kill him?!" Fugaku roared, pointing accusingly at Danzo.

The Military Police officers behind him erupted in fury.

"Controlling the Third, then pinning the blame on us—was the 'Nine-Tails Incident' the same kind of scheme?!"

"We won't take the fall anymore! Danzo must die!"

"Was he behind what happened in the Forest of Death the other day? And he even used Edo Tensei to bring Shisui back—how despicable!"

"What if something happened to Sasuke too?"

"Shh, keep your voice down… The clan head can hear you…"

Hearing that last remark, Fugaku felt the world spin around him.

He had thought Sasuke had merely been kidnapped—but now, it was likely only his eyes remained…

How could he ever accept such a thing?!

"Danzo, give me back my son!" Fugaku formed hand seals, and a fiery dragon erupted from his mouth, illuminating the night sky.

Danzo was horrified.

Who the hell would want your damn son?!

This wasn't just dirtying his name—it was dunking him headfirst into a cesspool!

"Who's seen your son?!"

Wasn't this just slander?

But Fugaku didn't see it that way.

Since when did villains admit to being villains?

Just as the fire dragon was about to strike Danzo, a torrent of water collided with it, neutralizing the attack.

"What do you think you're doing?!" Hiruzen bellowed.

Fugaku, startled by the sudden appearance of the Third Hokage, stammered, "Lord Hokage, I—"

"The Hokage is under Danzo's genjutsu!" Tsunade reminded him.

Right… he'd almost forgotten.

After Tsunade's warning, Fugaku realized that the Hokage before him was not in control of his own actions.

"If anything, it's you who's under Tsunade's influence. You claim I'm under genjutsu—where's your proof?" Hiruzen demanded coldly.

Fugaku hesitated.

If he continued attacking, it would be tantamount to rebellion, and from this distance, he had no way to prove the Hokage was under genjutsu.

Though he desperately wanted Danzo dead, with the Hokage standing in his way, he couldn't simply cut him down.

"Wait for the Hyūga—their Byakugan can examine the Hokage's chakra," Tsunade suggested.

Seizing the momentary lull, Danzo undid the seal on his right arm.

He had already made up his mind—at this point, there was no turning back.

Surrender meant death. Resistance meant death. If death was inevitable, why not fight with everything he had?

Just then, the Hyūga clan arrived at the foot of the Hokage Building with their subordinates, staring in shock at the charred ruins.

"What… what happened here?" Hyūga Hiashi asked, bewildered.

"Lord Hiashi, please use your Byakugan to observe the Hokage's chakra—see if he's under genjutsu," Kakashi urged.

Seeing more and more shinobi gathering around him, Danzo began to panic.

If he and Hiruzen fought together, no one in Konoha could stand against them—but if they were overwhelmed by sheer numbers, their chakra would eventually run dry.

Now, with the Hyūga and Uchiha here, and the Yamanaka, Akimichi, and Nara clans surely on their way, killing them all in one go would be nearly impossible.

No—he had to escape.

Having made his decision, Danzo immediately had Hiruzen unleash "Fire Release: Dragon Flame Bomb," while he himself summoned his Baku summon.

The explosive flames engulfed the surrounding buildings, turning the street into an inferno. Kakashi swiftly used Water Release to suppress the flames.

In an instant, a massive Baku appeared, its trunk raised as it prepared to inhale everything in its path, amplified by Danzo's Wind Release.

Seeing Danzo retreating, Tsunade gave chase, tearing a wooden pillar from a nearby building and hurling it at him.

The pillar was instantly split apart by Danzo's Wind Release, but at that moment, a giant slug suddenly materialized in front of him, blocking his escape.

Meanwhile, Might Guy and other shinobi stood atop the rooftops on either side of the street, looking down at Danzo with cold determination.

"Lord Danzo, it would be best if you explained yourself. I'm sure the Hokage and the elders will deliver a fair judgment based on your actions," Guy said sternly, his usual cheerful demeanor gone. "I know you're thinking of using a jutsu to break through, but at my absolute speed, you won't even have the chance to form hand seals. Go ahead—try me."

Beads of sweat rolled down Danzo's forehead as he scanned his surroundings—he was completely surrounded.

For the first time, he felt true despair.

It was over.
