Chapter 82 - Oblivion Singularity

Abbadon gathered the energy around his sword. Behind him, he could hear Seraphina mumbling:"Don't! They will kill you!""They touched my woman! They hurt you! What kind of man would I be, Seraphina, if I did nothing?"He marched. Whether it led to his end or to victory—no one knew. But he would not stop. He was calm. His head was clear. His walk, slow. And yet, everyone knew the rage inside him—if it could take form—even the earth wouldn't be enough to contain it. The Queen used her power and hurled stones at Abbadon. At the same time, she summoned storms and launched them too."Blade of the Dark – Infinitive Horizon."The stones and tornados were all cut into pieces. Abbadon went after the Queen. The King landed right in front of him with nothing but his bare fists."Let's see if I destroy your ability first—or if you cut mine!"Fist and blade met, and the pressure was enough to destroy everything around them. Rick, Seraphina, and Nade used their power to form a wall, which nearly shattered under the impact."Do you really think you can defeat us—me?" the King demanded."You misunderstand something. I'm sure you know how I got the title of king candidate, right? The only reason I never challenged you was because you were the father of my best friend. Well—now I have no reason to hold back!"The King jumped back, and rays of light crashed into Abbadon—boom, boom, boom! The Queen didn't stop. She saw a faint line of violet light through the explosion, and the next thing she felt was the cut across her stomach. She spat blood and yelled:"You bastard! Be judged and swallowed by the light—Holy Judgement: Eternal Glow!"It was as if a new sun had been born—gold and yellow, massive. The Queen let it fall on them. The King aimed both palms at Abbadon. Slowly, Abbadon's skin began to dissolve. His flesh tore. Veins burst. And yet, Abbadon stayed calm."Blade of the Dark – Oblivion Singularity!"This time, there was no slash. It was as if he had returned the blade to an invisible sheath. First, the King's power disappeared. Then his arm was caught by an unseen force. The sun divided, then split again, and again—until nothing remained. Not even atoms. Abbadon dropped to one knee. Doubts crept into his mind—until he heard the voice of his woman, Seraphina:"You can do it! I won't forgive you if you die on me!""Who's dying? Me? Never!"He rose again. His pulse strong. His body in pain. His mind craving rest. But his woman was there. He was far from finished.

In the White House

"Fuck!" Sarah cursed. "I have no other choice. I'm sorry, everyone!"She typed the word America and entered yes."Damn!"She ran from the room and immediately saw Dae immobilized."Dae!" she shouted. "It's done! The bombs are heading our way! So you better beat the shit out of that man and hurry back to your woman. Tell her that you love her—because we don't have much time left!"

Somewhere else

Larah slashed at Dean. He jumped back just in time—the sword barely grazed him."You really want to kill me?""You're forcing me! Move out of the way or die!""Larah, please! I love you!""If you truly love me, let's destroy this world together!""This isn't a solution!"Larah shook her head and leapt at Dean. He opened his arms."Larah, I trust you! We'll go home together!""You fool!"She plunged the sword into his chest and released a surge of wicked energy—it exploded. Dean dropped. He was still alive, but unconscious. Larah left him behind and ran toward Sarah.

Back in the White House

"AARGHHHH!"Dae roared, and energy burst from his body, shattering the spears.Voltra, unshaken, said coldly, "I will destroy your body until nothing remains. Let's see how you heal then."He gathered massive amounts of thunder. Dae dropped to all fours. He closed his eyes and focused. He felt every muscle. (Dae: If what he said about my father is true… then this should work.)Voltra shaped the thunder into a lance and shouted, "Raijin's Judgement!"Humans can't use 100% of their potential—body or mind. The same goes for demons and angels. But Dae's father was different. He had pushed himself to the point of becoming undead. That was Dae's goal. He tightened every fiber of his body. Forced pressure into his muscles. Pushed past the limit. His body broke—and healed instantly. Then he unleashed everything. His jump cracked the ground, and the pressure pushed everything back. His legs, strained beyond limit, snapped during the leap. But his arm, bursting with force, pierced the thunder lance and charged straight at Voltra.Voltra couldn't dodge. It wasn't a fist coming at him—it was death. And Dae blew his torso apart.Dae collapsed. His legs and one arm began healing—slowly."Miss President, please… help me get to Rayshel.""Yes!""You're going nowhere!"Larah appeared."Where is my brother? He went looking for you!""I did meet him."Dae's eyes dropped to her blood-drenched sword."Damn. A bitch stays a bitch," he growled. "I knew you weren't the right one for him when you chose Ezra! I mean—how much of a hoe must someone be to choose Ezra as a partner?""Then I am a hoe. And now—you'll join your brother."
