Synopsis
The year is 2025. The educational world has changed drastically over the past 25 years. Schools have strict policies that prohibit any form of violence or bullying. Even the smallest hint of aggression results in immediate suspension. Or at least, that’s how it’s meant to be... But despite all of this, below the surface of just physically fighting, bullying still exists in other forms. From forcing others to do homework, giving answers, demanding food, or even getting them to break the rules—these are all traits of a bully. Yet, these so-called "bullies" disguise themselves as "friends" and put on an act when teachers are around. The truth is, even the teachers are victims. I used to be one of their victims, but not anymore...

Chapter 1 - Incheon to Northern Busan

"So you're name is... Ryu Park, right?" the teacher asked.

I responded, "Yes sir. I'm from Incheon and just moved here a few weeks ago."

The teacher laughed, "Ha! No wonder I haven't seen you before. You're quite the large fella, I thought you were a foreigner!"

I chuckled, "Haha, no sir I am not. Incheon born and raised, pureblooded Korean."

"Wow... so how tall are you? How much do you weigh...?" the teacher asked, puzzled yet astonished.

"196cm (6'5) teacher, and I weigh 113kg (~250lb). I'm not sure how I am this big, my parents were average height at best. I used to only be 5'11 so I'm not sure what really happened" I responded, scratching the back of my head.

"That's wild, all the ladies must love you huh?" he jokingly asked, rubbing his elbow into my side. "So, if I may... what brings you out to Busan?" he asked.

"My mother's new job as well as a few other personal reasons." I responded.

"Ah, well I won't intrude on the reasons..." he said. "I would like to let you know about some stuff. I hope you don't worry too much, but I ought to give you some advice. First, at this school, there is quite a lot of bullying despite the large amount of kids."

"I know that, but I'm sure I'll be fine." I said.

He responded, "Well, you're probably right. Anyways, there is one kid I would say to look out for. They like to call him the 'boss' of the school, and he is a little bit shorter than you. He's not as big, but he's quite a fighter I've heard, so just watch out. Moving on..."

The teacher had rambled on for quite a while. Obviously, the reasons for me moving to Busan was just a cover-up.

I am now in my 2nd year of high school. I spent my 1st year studying, slightly working out to maintain my shape, and... fighting. That's right, fighting. (Author Note: Look out for the prologue chapters (only 1 currently) in Volume 0, his origins and more will be released there to help!)

Although I couldn't understand why, the older kids in my last high school and people on the streets would try to pick fights with me. Due to my sheer size, if it was a fist-fight, I typically won. However, sometimes, they would pull out weapons like a bat, glass bottles, or even knives.

As a result, I have quite a bit of scars across my body. I would also lose whenever someone of the same height or relative size to me fought me because I've never learned how to fight properly before. Eventually, I started getting into fights on my own accord to at least learn how to land a few punches and kicks.

Anyways, the reason why I had moved to Busan was because a business called the "N Group" had struck a deal with me. They offered to help me get into a top-level university, pay for it, buy me an apartment with a high-quality car, and they provided me with a card that has quite a lot of cash on it.

In return, they had requested for me to go to Busan and to "clean it up". It was obvious what they meant—go to Busan, fight all of the school leaders, and merge the city high schools into one unified group. I'm not sure why they requested me to do this, nor am I sure why a large business like them is even related to it, but I had no reason to pass it up. In fact, what I questioned the most was why they chose me who doesn't even know how to fight properly.

"Don't worry about me, teacher..." I responded. "I am here to remove him- no, I mean, I will be sure to watch out. I doubt he will pick on me because of my size though."

The teacher laughed, "Haha. You're probably right. I just wanted to tell you in case you come across him. Anyways, that's all for the introduction to the school. School officially begins tomorrow, so make sure to be here a bit early!"

I smiled. "I will be sure to do that. Thank you!"

I turned around, slid open the door, and walked out. As I walked down the hallways, I noticed walls covered in thick dust, several holes and cracks, and even graffiti. You could easily tell this was a rural area. If it weren't for this being the only school in the area, this school itself would probably have less than 100 kids.

I opened my new classroom door and observed the room. In contrast to the halls and rest of the school, the classroom was kept quite clean and tidy. I walked to the windows and looked out.

I thought, "A soccer field... a decently sized gymnasium... and even the cafeteria was quite large. So why are the hallways poorly maintained?"

In the distance, I could hear a few voices. The distance from the voices became shorter and shorter until it was right behind the doors. I turned around and faced the door, and watching as it slid open.

When the door slid open, a small group of four kids appeared. Two of them were relatively small, I'd say around 173cm (5'8) each. The other two, who were in front, were quite large in comparison. One I would say is 183cm (6'0) and the other 188cm (6'2), 8cm (3in) shorter than me. (Author Note: I plan on keeping things like height and their conversions, if you don't like it, let me know!)

One of them spoke, "Oh...? A new student?"

I responded in a kind manner, "Hello. Yes, I am new. My name is Ryu-"

"Ah, I don't care about that" he interrupted, itching his ear. "Mind leaving the room, we have stuff to do here."

I responded, my brows twitching with irritation, "Sure thing. Was there a need to be rude?"

"No, my bad. Could you leave now?" he spoke, shooing his hand at me like I was a fly.

I clenched my fist, walking right up to him and looked down at him. "Sure, I will leave. Could you and your buddies stop blocking the door?"

He laughed, "I see what you're trying to do. Trust me, it won't work. I've dealt with plenty of people your size before. Touch me and see what happens-"

I quickly pummeled him in the jaw, immediately knocking him out cold. I looked at the others, and they backed up in fear. "Move. I won't ask again."

They swiftly complied, and as I was leaving the classroom, they spoke, "D-don't think you won just because you did a cheap shot! T-the boss will s-surely get you tomorrow, w-watch your back!"

I turned around, smiling. "Sure, I will be waiting for this so called boss that everyone is talking about. Oh, and if I find out you reported me... well, I am sure you know what will happen."

Something I learned when it comes to fighting with these types of people. If you don't get the first shot in, you'll end up being the victim. Whether it's a blow to the back of the head, a random cheap shot with an object, or even just a regular punch... the moment you turn your back to them, they will do it.

These types of people won't simply let you go after you blatantly disrespect them in any way. But... maybe I went too harsh.

. . .

I ordered a taxi and had to deal with an insanely obnoxious and drunk driver. After 20 minutes of driving, I finally got home to my apartment. It was neatly furnished and sparkly clean. The fridge and pantry was loaded with food and drinks. They made sure that my apartment had all of the essentials and its design was extremely modern.

Top of the line technology, some type of artificial intelligence system that listens and obeys to my orders, it was all very strange to me. In contrast, I used to live by myself in a small little old house. There was nothing special about it at all, and it looked like a small wind could knock it down.

I sighed, "It's nice to be living like this, nonetheless."

I turned on the television and started relaxing until someone knocked on my door. I got up, walked toward it and slightly opened it.

"Who is it...?" I asked.

There was a lady dressed in formal clothing, whom I presume was from some type of office job. She spoke, "Hello. Ryu Park, yes?"

I responded, uneasy, "Yes... who are you? How do you know my name?"

She backed away from the door a little bit before pulling out her work card. "Kim Jisoo, a supervisor at N Group. Please don't be startled, I've been tasked with assisting you with whatever you need and monitoring you."

I opened the door more and chuckled, "Oh, haha! My apologies. But, what do you mean by monitor?"

"Don't be alarmed by that..." she spoke. "It's simply keeping tabs of what and how you are doing. I'm not going to monitor your private life or whatever you do inside of the apartment, but besides that... I can't tell you more yet. But for now, enjoy yourself and complete the task. I will be living a few apartments down at 301, don't hesitate to reach out through the phone number on the card or by knocking. Have a good day."

She walked away, leaving me with her work card. "Interesting... but a monitor is still a bit excessive. As long as they don't monitor my private life, I guess it doesn't really matter."

I sighed, once again. "Tomorrow will definitely be a headache... I hope this boss person isn't a talented fighter who is barely smaller than me. Maybe I should ask N group to set me up with someone to teach me..."
