Chapter 119 - Chapter 119: Minato vs A and B Duo ! Konoha's Orange Hope, Naruto!

Across the ninja world, those witnessing the events unfold on the screen couldn't help but curse.

"Facing both the Fourth Raikage and Killer Bee, Minato chose to confront them alone. Such bravery!"

"It's hard to tell if Namikaze Minato is merely brave or truly confident. The combined strength of the AB brothers, the Raikage and Bee, is certainly formidable!"

Kumogakure – The Village Hidden in Clouds,

The Fourth Raikage, A, sat pale-faced, murmuring to himself, "So, it's finally come to this."

"I prayed this battle wouldn't be exposed on the screen, but…"

"This cursed screen!"

This time, Killer Bee didn't chime in. This battle was an insult to him as well. Though not formally defeated, they had, in essence, lost.

'Isn't it a loss when two can't even overcome a single opponent? ' he thought.

Darui commented, "The one who became the Boss's greatest rival is about to appear. I vaguely recall the sting of that defeat."

C interjected, "Let's be fair. The Boss was just careless; he wasn't prepared for Minato's speed."

[On the screen, after Minato spoke, the Fourth Raikage immediately activated his Lightning Style Chakra Mode and lunged at Minato with a punch.

But when his fist was a mere 0.1 cm from the bridge of Minato's nose, Minato vanished, instantly reappearing on a tree branch to evade the attack. In the very next moment, he used a Flying Raijin Kunai he'd previously placed to teleport directly behind A.

If Killer Bee hadn't intervened, using one of his Bijuu tails to block Minato's kunai, A would have likely been finished right there!]

Countless ninjas across the world were shocked.

Although the exchange on screen was brief, without massive explosions or devastating changes to the terrain, everyone understood the immense danger A had faced in that split second.

If Killer Bee had reacted even a fraction of a second later, A would have undoubtedly suffered a severe injury!

"This is a true contest of speed!"

"Now I understand why the Fourth Raikage is so fixated on Minato's speed! This encounter clearly left a profound mark on him."

[Just as Minato and his squad were about to leave, Killer Bee called out provocatively, "Yo, hold up! Don't leave yet, fool, ya fool!"]

[Minato replied calmly, "A, you have a truly valuable partner. I trust that the next time we meet, it will be as fellow Kage, with our titles on the line!"]

[The Fourth Raikage roared, "You're not getting away!"]

[He then carefully scanned the area, anticipating Minato's teleportation spots, and rushed towards Minato's last position with renewed, albeit fragile, confidence.

Just as A focused intently on the spot where he expected Minato to reappear, Minato had already teleported behind his brother, Killer Bee, holding a kunai to Bee's throat.

Minato murmured, noticing his marked kunai near Bee, "My Hiraishin mark… on the Eight-Tails' tail."

However, Killer Bee, ever defiant, aimed his own short sword back at Minato, prepared to take Minato down with him if it came to it.

"Even as an enemy, I admire your spirit!" Minato said with genuine admiration.

Then, Minato vanished just as swiftly, leaving A with his back drenched in a cold sweat, his earlier confidence completely shattered.]

The brief battle concluded.

It was clear to everyone watching that the Fourth Raikage had been thoroughly outmaneuvered by Minato. If not for Killer Bee's timely interventions on two occasions, A would have suffered a humiliating defeat. The incredible speed and combat intelligence A prided himself on were clearly no match for Minato's.

Perhaps the only consolation for A was the undeniable fact that he had an exceptional partner in Killer Bee.

Kumogakure – The Village Hidden in Clouds,

Most Kumogakure shinobi looked towards their dejected Fourth Raikage. This televised experience was surely a bitter reminder of a past humiliation.

Sensing his elder brother's despondency, Killer Bee extended his fist and called out, "Brother! Yo!"

The Fourth Raikage glanced at his younger brother. His downcast expression slowly shifted to one of pride. He then extended his own right fist, bumping it against Bee's. "Bee!"

The bond between the brothers visibly strengthened in that moment. And on the screen, their brotherhood, tested in battle, had also been affirmed.

[The scene on the screen shifted. The Fourth Raikage and Killer Bee were shown clashing in a practice Lariat, but surprisingly, Killer Bee emerged the victor this time.]

["Brother, you've always underestimated my strength!" Killer Bee declared. He then urged, "Trust me, and trust in Naruto too… because he holds two suns within him!"]

["Two suns?"]
