Previously, the broadcasts had focused on the devastation wrought by Uchiha Madara upon the Shinobi World. The full horror of the one hundred thousand White Zetsu and the legions of reanimated shinobi brought forth by the Edo Tensei had yet to be truly witnessed by all.
And now, the screen depicted the brutal reality of what was becoming the cruelest war in shinobi history.
This conflict was not merely about overwhelming power; its true horror lay in the deeply personal nature of its confrontations. Shinobi were forced to fight former comrades, cherished friends, and even family members—a battle of both blade and conscience, where every victory felt like a condemnation.

[The first scene showed Deidara, mounted on his massive clay bird, soaring through the sky. With him was an enigmatic, white, serpent-like figure. They were locked in a fierce aerial battle against Onoki, the Third Tsuchikage—a tragic clash between master and former disciple.]
[The camera then zoomed in, and the white serpent figure's face came into sharp focus. His complexion was unnaturally pale. His slit pupils and the dark markings around his eyes bore a chilling resemblance to Orochimaru. White, serpentine scales adorned his cheeks, and an aura of sinister gloom clung to him.]
As the identity of this 'White Serpent' was revealed, a wave of shock and disbelief rippled through the Shinobi World.
"This man... is he the one truly manipulating Uchiha Madara from the shadows?"
"Finally, his true face is revealed!"
"So, it isn't Orochimaru after all! We were mistaken!"
"But why does he seem so... familiar?"

In Konohagakure (the Village Hidden in the Leaves),
Kakashi Hatake stared at the screen, recognition dawning in his single visible eye.
"It's him... Yakushi Kabuto, formerly of Konoha's Medic Corps!"
Sakura Haruno gasped. "He was Orochimaru's right-hand man!"
Naruto Uzumaki clenched his fists. "No doubt about it! But... how did he become like that?" he exclaimed, gesturing at Kabuto's drastically transformed appearance.
Might Guy struck a pose. "I remember now! It's that Kabuto! The one with the snakes and those glasses!"
Asuma Sarutobi nodded grimly. "We've all encountered him at some point."
A murmur of unsettling recognition passed through the other Konoha shinobi present.

Meanwhile, in Otogakure (the Village Hidden in Sound),
Orochimaru watched the broadcast. When Kabuto's face was clearly shown, a faint, almost imperceptible smile touched the corners of his lips.
He thought to himself, 'Kabuto... I trust you won't disappoint me.'
Jiraiya and Tsunade, also present with Orochimaru, were stunned. Upon recognizing Kabuto, they immediately confronted their former teammate.
"Orochimaru!" Tsunade demanded. "You have to capture Kabuto! If he's controlled, perhaps these future tragedies can be averted!"
Orochimaru replied calmly, "Kabuto has already left my side."
"Escaped?" Jiraiya echoed, surprised.
"Indeed," Orochimaru confirmed. "His current whereabouts are unknown to me."
Hearing this, Tsunade felt an overwhelming urge to pummel him. "Damn you, Orochimaru!" she seethed. "I suspect you let him go deliberately! If Kabuto truly causes the devastation this broadcast implies, I'll hold you personally responsible, and you'll be the first one I crush!"
Orochimaru merely chuckled. "Such accusations require proof, Tsunade."

Across the Shinobi Nations, discussions raged about Yakushi Kabuto. The revelation of this key figure, apparently masterminding such chaos, offered a sliver of hope: if Kabuto could be apprehended, perhaps the impending disaster could be mitigated.
At that moment, the Five Kage were reconvening for an emergency video conference.
Kakashi: "It is confirmed. The individual shown is Yakushi Kabuto."
The Fourth Raikage, A, slammed his fist on the table yelling , "Then we send our forces to Orochimaru's known hideouts immediately! Force him to hand over Kabuto!"
Onoki, the Third Tsuchikage, scoffed. "A, your information is outdated. Kabuto fled Orochimaru's influence days ago. Weren't you aware?"
Terumi Mei, the Fifth Mizukage, inquired, "Lord Tsuchikage, do you have any intelligence on Kabuto's possible destination?"
Onoki sighed. "I do not. That young man was always a master of espionage. Catching him will not be a simple task for ordinary shinobi."
Gaara, the Fifth Kazekage, spoke with his usual composure. "Then our first step should be to approach Orochimaru directly. He might possess knowledge or a means to track Kabuto down."
Kakashi nodded. "I agree. Konoha has some intelligence regarding Orochimaru's current location. To avoid escalating conflicts unnecessarily, allow Konoha to handle the initial negotiations."
The Raikage interjected, his voice booming, "If negotiations fail and force is required, Kumogakure will lend its full support!"
