Vertin Alley
The group left Gringotts and Evervine stretched, a wide smile spreading across her lips.
"Your parents were truly powerful. I take back all I said about En's magic dying."
Hazel rolled her eyes. "Right, until the next time you say…"
She stopped mid sentence as Draco walked right up to her, determination on his face. Her eyebrows rose, but before she could speak Harry stepped between them and folded his arms over his chest. Ron fell in line and did the same.
The girls fell back with frowns on their faces while Marcel was rather confused. He looked to Hazel.
"Who is this young wizard Hazel?" She opened her mouth to answer but Draco beat her.
"I, am Draco Malfoy." He tried to push past Harry and Ron and frowned when he couldn't.
"I was hoping to speak to you Ms. Potter."
Several eyebrows went up with the "Ms.". But someone outside their group answered.
"And what exactly do you want to ask her?"
Hazel smiled at the sound of George's voice. She looked up and was met with him smiling at her with a wink.
Draco's frown deepened.
"I was not talking to you Weasley. "
George and Fred landed as one. George shrugged. "You will have to talk to me if you want to talk to her."
Draco scoffed.
"Ms. Potter I was hoping you would attend the triwizard tournament Ball with me. I know that…"
Loud laughter cut him off. Fred looked to George.
"Malfoy is asking your girl to the ball! This is hilarious."
George wasn't laughing.
Hazel stepped forward.
"I am sorry. I already told George I would go with him."
She turned to George as if that were the end of it.
"Is Wizz Pop open?" She had a twinkle in her eye and a bright smile on her face, her hand lightly falling on George's chest.
George smiled and took her hand and kissed it. "It sure is. I will buy you two scoops of banana spiraling cream."
Her smile widened. "Come on Evervine, Marcel, you haven't seen Vertin Alley yet." She stepped to her friends and put her hands on their shoulders.
"Feel what I do and after you will be able to go on your own."
She paused and she felt her friends focus. She felt Vertin Alley align and she took a step to the side, pulling them with her, and they both rose up – followed quickly by Harry, Hermione, Ron, George, and Fred - into the air as if on an elevator. In the next breath they were all on a busy street situated in the clouds.
Draco looked up, stunned. Then, slowly, fury filled his being. 'No Weasley is going to take the what is mine.'
"This is like Windsmoore."
"But at the same time not."
The street was lain translucent bricks looked like someone used clear blue water to make them. They were wide and Diagon Alley below was clearly seen.
Wispy clouds flowed over the and under these stones and the buildings were all narrow buildings packed tightly together.
They walked across the airy street and headed to a narrow open building. The sigh read "Wizz Pop Delights" and had a large mug of a colorful pink foaming drink filling and emptying over and over again.
They piled into a large table and a bubble rose. Hazel touched.
"I want two scoops of banana spiraling cream custard and starry blast fizzy pop. My friends will try your strawberry sky fizz custard shake."
Both Evervine and Marcel nodded at the choice as the others touched the bright pink bubble and made orders.
When the last order was made the bubble descended and each person's order rose – correctly – before them.
The friends spoke and laughed about nothing until they all had to go.
That night Hazel, Harry, Sirius, Minerva, and Remus all stepped onto the dreamscape as one.
Harry sat heavily onto his favorite couch, and began twirling the ring of finding around his finger.
Minerva looked at the ring and said nothing. Hazel took the emerald out of her robes and handed it to her adoptive mother. Sirius nodded, looking at the gem, as he sat next to his godson.
"You have a shaping gem? Did you create that?"
Hazel looked to her uncle and shook her head but Harry answered.
"Our parent's left it for us."
Sirius' eyebrows went up as he nodded again. Remus took the stone from Minerva, asking first – of course.
"What did it shape."
"A room. I think father is the one who created it. It seems mother was in charge of leaving a memory for us and he was in charge of the location or the place that held it."
"You found a memory from your parents?"
Hazel frowned at her mother's question.
"Well, yes and no. We have to wait till we're 18 to actually obtain the memory."
"this is a powerful piece of magic."
Remus returned the emerald to Minerva.
"Agreed. Keep the Shaping stone here on your dreamscape and when you two are ready retrieve the memory. Your mother was a brilliant witch. It will be there and whole when everything is right."
Sirius looked to Harry. "Where is this memory?"
"Gringotts. Vault 2008 – the Goblin gave us the emerald and said they had to wait till we were together to give it to us."
"Such specific instruction?" Minerva looked at the emerald with renewed interest.
"It must be a massive secret then."
Sirius looked to Remus with a non. "Or vitally important."
