"Suien, are you insane?!" Takigakure ninjas stationed nearby saw the scene, their faces turning grim as they rushed towards them.

The sudden outburst shocked Suien's three subordinates.

They were reluctant to participate in this reckless rebellion, but they were all in the same boat and had no choice but to draw their kunai and prepare for a fight.

Suien, however, seemed unconcerned.

A smile appeared on his face as Shibuki, clutching his injured abdomen, his face contorted in pain, shouted, "Careful! Suien brought outsiders back!"

Outsiders? The five arriving ninjas froze, preparing to spread out and protect Shibuki.

But in the next moment, a sharp whistling sound echoed.

Blades, shimmering with brilliant light, shot towards them like a peacock spreading its tail feathers, too fast to dodge.

Before the five Takigakure ninjas could react, the blades pierced their chests.

Blood spurted as their eyes widened in disbelief.

Life quickly drained from their bodies, and they collapsed, becoming lifeless corpses.

"Suien, you're mad!" Shibuki roared, his voice filled with rage.

He watched as the shimmering blades shattered in the air.

More than a dozen figures descended from all directions.

The leader, clad in a black cloak, bore a mark on his forehead that made Shibuki's expression change drastically.

"Suien, you're insane! You've colluded with them…!" Shibuki roared, but before he could finish, Suien punched him in the stomach, doubling his pain. Shibuki spat out blood and lost consciousness.

"Suien, you're surprisingly soft-hearted. Killing him would have been better," the cloaked leader sneered.

Suien gestured to his two remaining subordinates. "Only the clan heads know about the Hero Water. He can't die yet."

"But now that you're here, with your strength and my allies, even the Blood-Colored Asura won't stand a chance."

Suien laughed unrestrainedly, envisioning victory.

With his new allies, the Sharingan, and the Hero Water, he believed he could surpass even Kakuzu, Takigakure's strongest ninja.

This would be his moment to shine.

"Good. Don't forget, I helped you. Don't forget to help me seize control of the village," the cloaked leader sneered.

"That old man handed the position to someone else after I killed him. I won't let that go."

"Don't worry, once we seize control and form an alliance, no one in the shinobi world will dare to provoke us," Suien said.

While Suien and the cloaked man spoke, Itachi Uchiha remained passive, observing the cloaked man and his subordinates. Unlike Shibuki, Itachi took some time to recognize them. He hadn't expected to encounter a Takigakure rebellion while searching for the Seven-Tails.

"Well, you've been surprisingly well-behaved," Suien's smile faded, his gaze lingering on Itachi. "Take him inside. I'll retrieve the Hero Water, then we'll deal with him."

"Kid, I advise you to cooperate. I might spare your life, but if you cause trouble, don't blame me for being ruthless."

Seeing Itachi remain silent, Suien turned and left, followed by his new allies.

His three subordinates were left to guard Itachi.

Once Suien and the others were gone, the lead subordinate breathed a sigh of relief. "I can't believe Suien-sama seized this opportunity to rebel and even colluded with outsiders. We were completely in the dark."

"Tōsei, don't complain. We have two choices: follow Suien-sama or side with Clan Head Shibuki and oppose him," the older subordinate sighed.

Before he could finish, Itachi spoke.

"You have a third option: release me, and help me find the Seven-Tails."

"Release you? Help you find the Seven-Tails?" Tōsei was taken aback. "Kid, are you joking? Do you really think we'd fall for such a pathetic trick?"

"And you want to find the tailed beast to control it with your Sharingan and fight Suien-sama?" Tōsei rolled his eyes. "You're dreaming!"

The two Takigakure ninjas smiled.

A seven-year-old child leaving the village alone was foolish; aiming for a village's tailed beast was laughable.

"No, you misunderstand," Itachi said calmly, ignoring their mockery. "Haven't you heard of someone collecting tailed beasts?"

"The nine tailed beasts are scattered among the Five Great Nations and Takigakure."

"Decades ago, Takigakure was strong and received a tailed beast. But after Kakuzu's attack, your strength declined significantly."

"If someone aims to collect all the tailed beasts, between the Five Great Nations and a weakened Takigakure, where do you think they'll strike first?"

His words hung in the air.

The ninjas' faces changed.

Tōsei pressed, "Kid, is that person… him?"

His urgent question made the other two tense.

When Itachi nodded, their hearts felt like they were being squeezed by an invisible hand.

Suien had boasted about his allies and the Hero Water, but the thought of Uchiha Kai, the infamous Blood-Colored Asura, filled them with apprehension.
