At the waterfall entrance, three figures emerged like ghosts.

"Rin, do you sense any chakra fluctuations?" Kakashi scanned his surroundings cautiously.

After a few seconds, Rin opened her eyes, looking towards a large tree trunk in the distance.

"There are no other Takigakure Anbu around the entrance, but there are many chakra signatures in that tree ahead. It seems something's happened…"

"Ahead?" Obito followed Rin's gaze. "Kakashi, what do we do?"

Kakashi didn't answer immediately.

He frowned, pondering for a moment. "Takigakure is second only to the Five Great Nations."

"Finding someone in Takigakure will be difficult, but since they captured Itachi Uchiha, they won't leave him alone."

"To avoid Konoha's wrath, they'll act preemptively.

Given the current chaos, they'll assume Konoha won't start a war over a dead man."

Rin and Obito's expressions shifted.

"Kakashi, you mean Itachi will be where there are many people?" Rin asked urgently.

She had risked becoming a renegade because of Itachi and Kai's relationship. She couldn't bear to see Itachi die at Takigakure's hands.

"Until we know Itachi's exact location, that's the most likely scenario," Kakashi nodded. "It's time for you to decide.

The enemy outnumbers us, and this mission is extremely dangerous. You can still withdraw."

Kakashi looked at Rin and Obito, letting his words hang in the air.

Some things didn't need to be explicitly stated. This was a life-or-death decision.

"Heh, Kakashi, you underestimate us.

You've already accepted the risk of death, haven't you? You're testing us," Obito laughed, only to be smacked on the head by Rin, who gestured for silence.

"Stop it! Be quiet! If they sense us, infiltration will be harder," Rin whispered sharply.

Obito rubbed his head, grumbling, "Rin, you should learn from Tsunade-sama. Your punches are almost deadly!"

"You think I'm violent?" Rin asked, clenching her fists.

Obito frantically shook his head. "I mean… you're as beautiful as Tsunade-sama…"

"Really?"

"Of course…"

Seeing the tension ease, Kakashi sighed. "Alright, calm down. This is a life-or-death mission, so we need a strategy. Rin, you…"

As Kakashi explained his plan, the playful expressions on Rin and Obito's faces disappeared, replaced by seriousness.

They nodded in agreement. Kakashi's gaze fell on the large tree, and he raised his hand.

The three vanished instantly.

The waterfall entrance wasn't far from the tree.

As they approached, they heard loud voices.

Through a hole in the tree, they could see inside.

"Suien, are you insane? Release our clan members, or you won't open that seal!" Shibuki, his wounds bandaged, looked pale and weak but otherwise unharmed.

Dozens of Takigakure ninjas knelt before him, but Itachi was nowhere to be seen.

Rin and Obito looked at Kakashi. Their objective was to rescue Itachi.

They hadn't found him and had stumbled upon a rebellion.

"Heh, Clan Head Shibuki, this isn't a discussion. I hear your wife is pregnant.

Think of it as killing two birds with one stone," Suien said cruelly.

He formed a water blade and, without hesitation, slashed towards the kneeling woman.

The sudden attack shocked everyone. Rin was hesitant to interfere, but she couldn't stand by and watch a double murder.

But Kakashi stopped her.

"Stop! I'll tell you how to open the seal, but you must release everyone, including that Uchiha brat," Shibuki shouted urgently.

Kakashi, Rin, and Obito exchanged glances. They had planned to retreat, but now they had an opening. Kakashi signaled them to prepare, then turned back to the scene.

"Heh, Clan Head, if you'd agreed earlier, they wouldn't be suffering," Suien said, his water blade inches from the woman's neck.

"But that Uchiha brat is key to my plan.

I can't let him go.

Hand over what you have, or they all die."

Suien looked at Shibuki. Shibuki smiled bitterly, drained of strength.

Despite his clan members' protests, he stumbled to his feet and walked towards the tree wall.

Without hesitation, he formed hand seals, his hands moving rapidly.

The ordinary tree wall glowed blue.

A massive barrier appeared, and with a boom, the wall opened like a door, revealing a three-meter-wide opening.

Inside the tree, a large tree trunk stood, with a blue gourd resting on top.

A clear liquid dripped into it.

This was the Hero Water.

Suien's face lit up with delight. He rushed inside without hesitation.
