"Hello."
A deep, cold voice came from the other end, sounding like it could freeze fire.
Drake's whole face lit up. "Hello!! Vlad Sr.! I'm Drake!!"
There was a pause.
Count Vladimir, on the other side, blinked slowly. "...Vlad. Sr.?" he repeated, sounding confused.
"Yes yes! Vlad Jr.'s father! Vlad Sr.! Hehehe!" Drake said proudly, bouncing on the bed.
No one had ever called him Vlad Sr.
He stared at the phone, then said in a very serious tone, "You called me."
"Yes! I want to talk to Vlad Jr. please!!" Drake replied, now rolling on his bed like a caterpillar. "It's important!"
Another pause.
Then a quiet sigh. "Wait a moment."
Three minutes later, the voice changed.
"Drake?" came Vlad Jr.'s soft, calm voice.
"Vlad Jr.!!!" Drake shouted so loudly it echoed in his room.
"How did you get my father's number?" Vlad Jr. asked, his voice curious.
"Oh, I found it on my mom's phone!" Drake giggled. "I think she knows your dad. Or maybe your dad scared her once. I dunno."
