But he had heavily underestimated the regeneration of an Orc. As he got within range, the Orc had already regenerated half of its injuries, and it could move its arms.
The Orc swung its mace at Riven. It whistled through the air and headed for his chest. Riven had to react fast; he used his sword to block the attack.
He blocked it, but the force immediately sent him flying to a wall. His sword fell out of his hands, and he slammed his back on the wall, passing out for a second before coming back.
He slowly looked up, pushing through the pain, and he saw that the Orc was now almost fully regenerated and it was charging at him.
"I shouldn't have bitten more than I can chew, but I don't have a choice now," Riven thought. He looked at his sword, and it was too far for him to get to; the Orc was already headed for him.
