King Killian turned to face Xavier, now directing the daggers in his eyes to him. The expression on his face was dark, as if a dark storm had settled over his head.
Under the table, his fist was clenched so tight his knuckles had turned white. He hated that he almost proved Enzo right when the sudden urge to kill him right there came. Yes, he was a man who killed for sport and like he said earlier, people who couldn't breathe, couldn't cause trouble. And he only held himself back because of Elena's trauma and because Elena was Enzo's mate.
"Wow. No man except me, of course, has dared to talk to Killian in such a manner. Honestly, I was worried you wouldn't last a week but I think you'll do so much better here. And no, this doesn't mean I'm suddenly okay sharing, I just believe you and Killian will kill each other sooner or later and I can have Elena to myself." Xavier uttered, his face plastered with his signature smirk.
