Fuck! Fuck!! Fucking Fuck!!! He repeatedly cussed in his head while slamming his fist on his desk. Feeling more furious than he ever felt in a while, he dropped back to his seat, looking from his guardian to Shade as they watched him lose his shit without commenting on it.
Derek was finally the one to break the silence. "It's a bait, he is baiting you. Even with his new found power, Ethan knows better than to start a war he cannot win with you therefore he settled for baiting you."
"Ethan has always been all bark no bite." Shade added with a trace of anger in his voice.
He stood up, allowing their voices to fade away as he looked out of the window, deep in thoughts. However, he lost the train of his thoughts on Ethan when he caught sight of Iris below. At first he didn't understand what she was doing but once it made sense to him, he looked away to give the people still talking a response.
