Xeno's eyes did not leave Chiro and Takahashimi. He knew the tensions were rising but he was in no shape to actually fight two of the strongest sorcerers in Lukia as of now.
He observed Chiro the most since he was suppressing and molding his soul energy around his body while Takahashimi was in his normal state.
"Nice art," said Xeno.
"Flattery won't work on me," replied Chiro.
Xeno knew he had to be ready at any time therefore he decided to already come up with a plan that could guarantee Takahashimi's loss and at least a draw with Chiro. Since he had Suzumi's memories he could easily find quick battle spells or magic for him to counter Chiro.
He never went to a fight with this body therefore the body size would make it harder to land precise attacks and control of such a large well of soul energy were lacking.
Suddenly, Takahashimi started to unleash all of his soul energy towards Xeno and it created a devilish aura around him. Xeno smirked and rushed back to avoid the effects of the aura. He did not want to stay too close since when he was close to Chiro's aura he could not even move it was as if his existence was a sentence and Chiro put a period mid-sentence.
Xeno got up and started to create a hand sign by pointing his right hand on the height of his face and making only the middle and index finger raised and then quickly rotated it ninety degrees anti clockwise and slashed empty air with the hand sign.
All the built up soul energy quickly left Xeno and a black flame was directed towards Chiro.
Chiro stood still and activated Taurus Wall and then Takahashimi quickly sprinted and started to have a fist fight with Xeno. Suzumi used Elemental Magic to make his arms as strong as rocks while using Death Magic to make all the dead cells act as armor for him.
Takahashimi's ability was something that came straight out of a comic book. He had always adored them as a child and he used them as a way to escape from the horrors of his childhood. For precisely one minute and thirty seconds he becomes invincible and as powerful as a god.
Since he knew his ability was more of a last-minute attack he decided to not use it at the beginning and instead enhance his body with 1st stage sorcery. Takahashimi's first stage sorcery was the second strongest in Lukia with the first being Chiro Zanami of course.
Takahashimi managed a clean punch to the abdomen after ducking Suzumi's leg kick and reacting with a quick counter move.
Chiro used Saggetarius aim and threw a beam of soul energy towards Xeno and knocked him backwards.
"Takahashimi," said Chiro.
"What?" replied Takahashimi panting.
"He is not used to this body yet even though it is his main body as of now," said Chiro.
Takahashimi thought for a minute before realising that the kick that Xeno had thrown at him would have been fatal if he had not ducked and Xeno was not used to Suzumi's body.
"Understod," said Takahashimi.
Xeno wiped out the blood that he spat out when Takahashimi punched him in the abdomen and started to summon an army of undead avatars.
Since Suzumi was a master at Life/Death Magic it gave him a clear tutorial on how to properly use his avatars in an efficient way like how Suzumi used when his main powers and standard was something like a necromancer it was very similar to Xeno's avatar abilities.
A void opened up in the hard grey wall beneath them and multiple green eyed, pale skeleton beings rushed out as they started swarming Chiro and Takahashimi.
Chiro created a Taurus Wall placing it as a barrier between the army and Chiro and Takahashimi.
"White Lightning," said Xeno.
A quick bolt of white lightning rushed towards the Taurus wall dome and it shattered the dome instantly. It pierced through the wall and aimed for Chiro and Takahashimi quickly ran towards it and deflected it with his strong arm.
"Chiro, let's end this," said Takahashimi.
Takahashimi unleashed all his soul energy out and the devilish aura started to appear again this time more fearsome and red in color. The bloodthirst was drenching from Takahashimi's body as all the skeletons started to rush towards him like mindless robots. He also decided to unleash his ability.
"Devil-like Invincibility," said Takahashimi as wings started to pierce through his back, his eyes turning blood red, and claws starting to grow.
A huge skeleton on a horse ran towards Takahashimi and he just slammed the horse with a kick and pierced the skeleton's spine and broke its bones with a menacing crack as he stared at Xeno.
"Next,"
Chiro had twelve abilities he can use under his Sorcery of the Constellations. They were Pisces Regeneration, Virgo Analyst, Taurus Wall, Sagittarius Aim, Aries Wrath, Cancer Space and Gemini Adaptability.
But he had some more and this time he was about to use the one that Suzumi had hated and always found annoying in their duels with each other. He walked closer as none of the skeletons could even touch him while he used a passive Taurus Wall and then he went up near Xeno and unleashed all his soul energy.
It was painful for Xeno to even stand. Even though Suzumi had enough soul energy to withstand Chiro's output Xeno was lacking the mental fortitude to withstand it.
Or was he? Xeno looked at Chiro face level as he also started to unleash all his soul energy straight at Chiro. Takahashimi was murdering and massacring the skeleton generals with crowns made of bones and skulls.
"One minute left, do you think he could make it?" asked Xeno, staring at Takahashimi.
"So you know?" asked Chiro.
"I have all the memories of Suzumi. It's a great shame isn't it? Maybe if you were not an enemy maybe we would have been friends," said Xeno.
Chiro did not respond.
"Leo Transformation," said Chiro as he started to turn into an almost perfect human for soul energy output.
His face was the same but he grew two extra arms and his legs had become more fit and more agile while he had a mane of a lion on his neck and his hair turned yellowish orange in color.
His soul energy output had also turned from an incomprehensible color to a golden yellow color.
Takahashimi glancing at Chiro, who had transformed, smirked as he realised that this form made Suzumi at his worst. None of his close range attacks would be able to land with two extra arms for defence. Chiro's perfect soul energy manipulation means he never fully used up his well.
Takahashimi ran towards Xeno and Chiro also rushed towards him. They both were toying with Xeno as he kept on exploding his own skeletons and not dealing any damage.
They both landed a clean punch on the opposite sides of Suzumi's face as Xeno growled and spat his broken tooth on the ground. Then he started to float up as Chiro looked at him in shock.
"No way he's going to try that. Even if it works there's no guarantee of his victory," exclaimed Chiro.
Xeno's eyes and coat turned white as he looked at Chiro and Takahashimi with eyes that were empty.
"For the first time this guy looked liberated in his life," said Takahashimi.
He rushed at them, blocking all their attacks but Takahashimi did not take any damage since he was in his invincible stage with the time quickly running out he unleashed one final attack.
"Devil's Reign," said Takahashimi as all the dead bodies combined to the red black hole that formed in his hand and threw it towards Xeno.
It caused a huge explosion as Chiro rushed at Xeno pummeling him to the ground and punching him multiple times with a barrage of attacks.
Xeno threw Chiro away after blocking one attack and threw white lightning at him as Chiro's quickly placed Taurus Wall broke.
Then he rushed towards Takahashimi whose Devil-Like Invincibility ran out.
He slammed his palm on Takahashimi's chest as he grabbed the soul inside him and placed a 0.1 % of himself in him. Takahashimi quickly struggled to breath as Xeno felt a pummeling sensation in his soul.
"Someone killed the avatar on Earth," said Xeno as he was holding his chest in pain.
Chiro rushed towards Xeno and slammed him to the ground but Xeno started to cackle uncontrollably. Chiro looked at Takahashimi as his eyes became empty. He became an avatar of Xeno.
