Once the alarm went off, I quickly turned it off after which I rolled out of the bed. I placed my palm on Leonard's forehead and found his temperature to be high still. Dr Cole had placed him on a 5-days bed rest when we visited him two days ago, and Leonard, although sick, had vehemently rejected doctor Cole's prescription. Of course I had intervened much to Dr Cole's relief.
Leonard didn't seem like he was getting any better even though I had made him take his medication these last two days.
I headed for the bathroom to clean up leaving Leonard who was still sleeping, on the bed. I didn't want to wake him up since he was not going to the office today.
