Once the cars pulled over in the kids' school, I got the door open, and stepped out of the car with speed, noting just how sparsely populated the school was now with more than half of the population already gone.
I hurried to the kids' class, panting heavily in fear, I had no idea what to expect in the kids' class but I couldn't help the fear which surged through me. Two of my men followed from behind me, while the others remained in the car as they always do. Cathy had since given up trying catch up, and now trailed after me.
The surprised look on their class teacher's face when I got in caused my heart to skip a beat in fear. Why is she surprised?
"Good afternoon, Mrs Litt," she greeted but my eyes were fixed on the few children in the class whose parents were yet to come for.
There was no Laurel or Lennox or Levi, I noted in fear before turning to face the teacher whose surprise had doubled since the last time I saw her face.
