I can't believe Nicole actually made me come to the hospital, and Dr Cole had put me on bed reset over a minor headache and an abnormal increase in my body temperature. Now I can't go to the office, not because I give a fuck about Dr Cole's prescription but because Nicole has insisted I observe a 5-days bed rest as directed by Dr Cole.
5-days, as I had tried to make Nicole understand is a lot of time to waste on bed resting but she would not heed. Although I had felt very sick that morning, a little more work would have done the trick.
Now I will lie here like some piece of vegetables and watch Nicole get dressed to take the children to school without me.
"How are you, honey?" Nicole asked, stopping at the foot of the bed. She had just returned from the closet where she had gone to get dressed.
