[Leonard]
Idris poured so much blood on me, so much blood that it stinks. He also made me swallow a few sleeping pills.
"This should knock you out for two hours or more," he added in a tone that said he didn't welcome any questions or comments from me.
"I don't see the need for a sleeping pill," I replied. Really, it was pointless. Especially when I can pretend to be in so much pain, my most recent experience would make pretending much easier.
"It's better if you're sleeping, that way they might think you are unconscious from losing so much blood." Idris opined, and even though I didn't fully agree with him. He was prepared to argue until the end of the day but I wasn't.
"What if they shoot me instead?" I asked. I was messing with him but the question became serious within me. What if they shot me? They might see my unconscious state as a long awaited opportunity, and shoot me instead.
