As soon as Adam hung up the phone, he happily waved at Hilary, who was standing nearby.
Hilary ran over excitedly.
Hand in hand, the two of them climbed into the luxurious Gilbert family car parked beside them.
"Wow, big brother, this car is so beautiful!" Hilary exclaimed, looking around the car with wide, curious eyes.
"This is nothing," Adam said nonchalantly. "Wait until you see the Watson Castle. That's like a real fairy tale kingdom. I'll take you there to have some real fun."
"Really?" Hilary's eyes sparkled with wonder. "I didn't know Daddy was so rich!"
"He's very rich," Adam replied with a small smirk. He climbed up and tiptoed to open a treasure chest filled with dazzling snacks, making Hilary's eyes widen even more.
Adam skillfully picked out a handful of treats and toys and handed them to Hilary. Suddenly, Hilary's eyes dimmed with a trace of sensitivity. She looked at him and whispered, "Big brother, will you and Mommy leave me one day?"
