Claire feared waking the sleeping children and quickly rose to open the door.
ColdBlood stood outside, his expression grave.
She jumped in fright. Could there be intruders again?
"ColdBlood, what are you doing here?" she asked, startled.
"Ms. Miler, please go to the hospital and look after Mr. Watson," he said directly. "He called you many times, but you didn't answer. He's in a very bad mood."
She finally understood why he had come and exhaled softly, pressing her lips together.
"ColdBlood, I'm truly sorry. I've been through too much these last couple of days, and I'm in no state to take care of him." After a moment, she refused outright and reached to close the door.
"Ms. Miler." ColdBlood stopped the door with his hand and said earnestly, "Mr. Watson's eyes were seriously injured before. He was supposed to undergo surgery soon, but everything that happened to the Watson family delayed it. Now his eyes have been damaged again, this time, very severely."
