Chapter 9 - Spirit Gathering Stage

At the initial completion of the one-step-one-mile stage, unlike other techniques, the void skipping technique is part of the Space Dao, and with the Boundless Saint Physic, it makes all Space Dao techniques easier to master.

After reaching this stage, Yanga noticed something whenever he practiced the void skipping technique, it became easier, allowing him to achieve twice the results with half the effort.

All the wolves fascinated him, driven by wild rage and relentless fury. It reminded him of those old sword-and-shield movies, with armies charging, some on horseback, racing to collide. When they finally met, the clash was of unimaginable intensity.

Watching the wolves rush towards their enemy, he felt that same thrill.

Yanga bent his legs and, with a resounding boom, launched himself so high into the air that he could see the entire battlefield from his new vantage point. That's when it happened.

Calling it a clash didn't even begin to cover it, it was more like a massive, unforgettable pileup. Wolves slammed into each other with such raw force and ferocity that some fell instantly, like cars crushed into unrecognizable scraps after a brutal collision.

Yanga had to hand it to the wolves their instincts were razor-sharp. As he fell, a few spotted him and leaped forward, trying to catch him.

Even in the chaos, with everyone tearing into each other to pieces, those that noticed him gave no quarter, aiming to kill him too.

It was as if they wanted to destroy anything that wasn't one of their own, anything outside their kind.

But Yanga was ready. His sword flashed, and three heads hit the ground. Landing lightly, he didn't slow for a second.

He moved like the wind wherever he went, heads rolled, blood splattered, and crimson sprayed from severed necks, staining the earth in a chillingly beautiful shade.

Yanga kept moving through the battlefield, swift and graceful like the wind. With every swing of his sword, another enemy fell, like a grim reaper harvesting lives step by step.

Amid the chaos and disorder of the battle, his presence began to draw attention. Most of the wolves here were level 3 wild beasts, but to Yanga, now at the 12th level of the Meridian Opening Stage, they were nothing more than insects he could crush in an instant.

Yanga was once again taken aback by the wolves' instincts, no it was more than instincts. It was as if they could speak through thoughts the moment they fixed their gaze on him.

Soon, they stopped fighting each other and charged straight at him, making his task harder, though he didn't mind. He was in the zone, moving and swinging with ease.

In that moment, all that existed for Yanga was himself, the wolves, and the sword in his hand.

They say an unoccupied mind can be a productive one, especially in the midst of constant fighting and movement. Yanga's thoughts stopped entirely, leaving him to live in the moment, focused solely on what he was doing right then no strategy, no distractions, just the battle before him.

With his body free to act on instinct, the spirit Qi from the liquid spirit Qi still surged wildly within him, raging without an outlet.

Then, something extraordinary occurred something that should have taken him much longer, yet happened on its own spiritual movement.

The spirit Qi from liquid spirit Qi poured into his meridians, stirring the energy already there. Together, they surged and surged until, with a resounding bang, the barrier of the Meridian Opening Stage shattered, and Yanga's Spiritual Ocean was unlocked.

With the last barrier shattered, the Spirit Qi surged into Yanga's Spiritual Ocean, circulating rapidly. As it spun faster, its intensity grew until it formed a vortex, pulling in more and more spiritual energy.

Meanwhile, Yanga moved from one strike to the next, the battlefield already strewn with the bodies of countless wolves, a chaotic and grisly scene.

The blood-soaked ground made every step treacherous, but Yanga pressed on, moving faster and faster, his sword flashing as he cut down foe after foe.

Spiritual Qi started pooling around Yanga, making him the focal point of everything. Spiritual Qi, usually invisible, grew so strong that it took on a nearly visible hue as it spiraled toward him, forming a vortex with Yanga at its heart.

The sight instantly drew the wolves' attention, and even the three emperors, in the midst of their fierce clash, shifted their focus to Yanga and rushed at him without a second thought.

None of it mattered. Yanga was in the zone, ready to take on any challenge that came his way. He moved faster and faster, and as his speed grew, his sword began to change.

At one point, he could swear it was slicing through the very wind, but he didn't care. He was locked in, completely in the zone.

The wolves were falling faster and faster at his sword, with the emperors relentlessly pursuing him. Even in the heat of the moment, his instincts stayed razor-sharp, sharper than ever as Yanga moved with precision, avoiding any clash with the emperors at all costs.

There was nothing he could do to change it. At this stage, all he craved was battle, and the longer the battle, the more certified he felt.

He dodged every Emperor on his trail, turning his focus to the other wolves, cutting them down in droves. What began as a fierce battle between three wolf species had now become a full-on massacre, with Yanga slaughtering them all.

The phenomenon lingered, with Yanga at its center as the spiritual vortex kept growing. It expanded from 1 km to 5 km, then shot past 20 km even faster.

Every spiritual Qi within 20 kilometers of Yanga was pulled toward him, and the whole scene unfolded in moments.

Within minutes, it was over, leaving no trace of spiritual Qi within 50 km. Yanga had absorbed everything during his breakthrough.

After months of relentless effort and training, Yanga finally reached the Spirit Gathering Stage, but the journey ahead only grew more challenging.

Now, the flaws of the Boundless Saint Physique were beginning to emerge. He had absorbed all the Spiritual Qi within a 50 km radius, yet judging by his spiritual within his Spiritual ocean, it barely made a difference..

But that was a problem for another day. Right now, he was in the thick of battle, and that was all that mattered.

With his breakthrough to the Spirit Gathering Stage, Yanga finally had the confidence to face the emperors, so he stopped running and charged straight at them.

The first to face Yanga, or rather the first he targeted, was the Stone Wolf, known for having the strongest defenses among the three wolf emperors.

Wanting to test his strength, Yanga clashed with the Stone Wolf Emperor. Boom! The impact sent them both flying. Yanga was knocked back over 10 meters before regaining his balance, but the Hollowing Wind Wolf, the fastest of the wolves, was already upon him.

He raised his sword to block the sharp claws aimed at his head, resulting in another fierce collision. This time, the blow hurled him more than 20 meters away, and in this exchange, Yanga was clearly on the losing end.

Strong, way was stronger than he had imagined. Facing all three of them would be tough, but it wasn't just the three the other wolves were still in play.

The battlefield had shifted, and some of the wolves had stopped fighting, now focused on the clash between Yanga and the three Emperor wolves. Yanga knew that when he began to gain the upper hand, the others would jump in to distract him, giving the Emperor wolves a chance to finish him off, and he couldn't let that happen.

The best move would be to take out all three alpha wolves quickly, but that was impossible they were simply too strong to be killed instantly.

The Howling Wind Wolf is the real problem. It's simply too fast. Though it wasn't as quick as Yanga, its speed was still dangerous and Yanga had to pay spatial attention to it.

If the Emperor Wolves worked together, the Howling Wind Wolf would be the biggest problem Yanga had to kill it first.

Of the three Emperor Wolves, the Inferno Wolf had the greatest battle strength, so Yanga charged at it, leaving the other two for now. The Inferno Wolf was waiting for him, and they clashed exchanging blow after blow

Blow after blow, Yanga and the Infernal Wolf exchanged fierce attacks until Yanga was finally knocked back, sent flying straight toward the Stone Wolf's direction.

Yanga twisted his body in a way that once seemed impossible, but with his new, fitter form, it was now within his reach. He managed to twist just enough to block the Stone Wolf's attack.

But before he could catch his breath, the Howling Wind Wolf appeared at his side. BANG! This time, he couldn't block it and was sent flying over 30 meters, rolling across the ground until he finally came to a stop. On one knee, blood dripped from his mouth as he struggled to steady himself.
