Seimei pushed the hand carrying the basketball-sized Rasengan toward Tobirama's stomach.
But Tobirama didn't show any alarm. Instead, he smirked and made a single-handed hand seal and released a surge of water chakra, forcefully converting his chakra to water particles, all while attracting the water vapor of the atmosphere.
Water Release: Water Formation Wall
The water vapor condensed into droplets of water and converged with the already existing water that Tobirama had created using his raw chakra.
The water circled Tobirama, creating a rotating protective vortex of clear water, which was ready to block any attack.
Bang! Swish! Splash!
The Rasengan hit the rotating, vortex-like water wall, causing a loud bang while splashing water around it.
But it couldn't breach the defense of the Water Formation Wall technique. Instead, it looked like the tornado-like spinning protective wall of water was sapping the power of the Rasengan, weakening its might with every passing second.
Seimei also understood this.
If he were a normal ninja with a limited amount of chakra and a standard Elite Jonin-level chakra control and shape transformation proficiency, he would have cancelled the Rasengan and retreated.
But with his chakra control reaching the solid LV7 and his abundant chakra that might put even an average Kage-level ninja to shame, he had no thoughts of backing down.
Impressive father. To think your standard B-rank Water Formation Wall Jutsu can block my Rasengan, even when you have limited the power of your Jutsu to your S-rank or early Kage-level days…
I can only be impressed.
But it doesn't matter.
But if a basketball-sized Rasengan can't breach your defense, then I will just expand it to become as wide as one meter.
With determination flashing into his eyes, Seimei quietly poured more chakra into his Rasengan.
Now, expand!
Chakra flowed through Seimei's chakra pathways like water through the floodgates and was poured into the Rasengan on his palm.
And the Rasengan? The Jutsu absorbed the chakra like a sponge, instantly expanding its size to a striking blue spiraling sphere with a diameter of one meter, ready to devastate anything and everything in its path.
"Take this!"
Seimei taunted and pushed the giant Rasengan as big as him toward the rotating vortex of water protecting Tobirama.
Splash! Splash! Bang!
Water splashed everywhere. The protective water vortex only lasted for a fraction of a second before crumbling down with a bang.
The Rasengan tore through the veil of water and hit Tobirama directly, who looked stunned.
But the moment the Rasengan touched Tobirama's clothes, his figure dissolved into a puddle of water.
Water Clone!
Seimei wasn't surprised. He had Tenseigan. He clearly saw Tobirama slipping away underground while leaving a water clone behind when the Rasengan just smashed the water wall apart.
Not wanting the giant Rasengan to smash onto the ground and cause a huge area-effect explosion, Seimei masterfully withdrew his chakra.
Under his precise chakra control, the Rasengan dissolved into beautiful, firefly-like particles of chakra before it touched the ground.
As soon as he did that, he immediately looked at his feet before quickly jumping back into the air.
The moment he jumped away, a pair of hands emerged from the ground. But obviously, the hands only caught empty air as Seimei had already slipped away.
Damn. Trying to drag me underground and deal with me? This is getting old.
But Seimei thought solemnly. But he also made his move quickly.
Purple lightning began to crackle around him as he began kneading chakra.
Lightning Release: False Darkness
Five spears of purple lightning, each one as long as two meters, formed beside him. Violent electric arcs snaked around the lightning spears, creating a lethal force field.
Even if someone dodged these lightning spears, the force field around them would still harm unsuspecting ninjas and zap them if they didn't create a distance of at least one or two meters while dodging the lightning spears.
That was the benefit of reaching LV7 in the lightning nature transformation affinity.
Crackle! Whoosh!
Five lightning spears shot toward Tobirama's location. Having his hands above the surface of the ground meant these lightning spears could stab through the earth and hit him.
And stab they did.
Five lightning spears almost plunged into the ground completely before detonating.
BOOOOOOM!
A huge shockwave tore through the ground before the storm of lightning damaged and charred the earth further, leaving behind a ten-meter-wide and six-meter-deep charred crater.
Dust and rock fragments flew into the air, obscuring Seimei's vision.
But Seimei clearly saw it.
His father had teleported again, just before the lightning spear hit the ground.
But his mood didn't fluctuate. Even before he attacked, he knew that there was no way that a crafty, old fox-like father of his would fall for this kind of trick.
He was someone who dominated the battlefield and danced with Uchiha ninjas during the Warring States Era, and still thrived and lived to tell the tale.
Suddenly, he felt spatial fluctuations near him.
His head quickly snapped toward the direction of the fluctuation, and he was a lone, inconspicuous rock fragment releasing a slight, almost imperceptible chakra fluctuation.
Well, shit! Even a random rock fragment is rigged with his Flying Thunder God Mark.
The moment those thoughts crossed his mind, Tobirama's figure instantly appeared out of thin air and puffed his cheeks slightly.
Water Release: Heavenly Weeping
Tobirama instantly released several sharp and fast senbon made of water, ready to pierce Seimei's vitals.
However, Seimei reacted fast and rolled toward his left, swiftly dodging those deadly water needles.
He steadied himself in a fraction of a second and launched a counterattack.
Wind Release: Vacuum Bullets
Seimei released a dozen highly lethal wind bullets with vacuum cores and shot them at Tobirama, who was standing just five meters away.
But Tobirama, as quick as ever, threw several kunai at Seimei and vanished from his spot faster than the blink of an eye.
Having very little time to deflect the kunai, Seimei activated the Flying Thunder God Technique to disappear just before Tobirama appeared behind him.
And Tobirama sensed the spatial fluctuations even before Seimei reappeared and pointed his fingers like a gun in that direction.
Water condensed and converged into a large sphere, twice the size of a human's head, in front of Tobirama's joint index and middle fingers.
Water Release: Water Spirit Wave
The large water sphere unleashed a barrage of extremely fast and penetrative water bullets in the direction of the spatial fluctuation.
When the bullets were fewer than five meters away from the exact place of spatial fluctuations, Seimei reappeared there abruptly.
But the moment his eyes fell on the incoming water bullets, he felt a chilling dread.
Unfortunately, it was too late to dodge, and in less than a couple of milliseconds, the swarm of bullets struck Seimei's figure.
Drip! Drip!
There were several bloody holes on Seimei's entire body. But thanks to the last-minute chakra reinforcement and the burst of wind currents he released by forcibly transforming his chakra into wind, the bullets lost a large portion of their momentum and couldn't penetrate the layer of flesh.
So, although Seimei was wounded, his internal organs were protected. The wounds he had right now were superficial.
But he still couldn't move away from his current position.
Because the cold edge of a sharp kunai was currently pressed against the skin of his throat.
And the holder of the kunai was none other than Tobirama, who had teleported beside him out of nowhere.
Seimei, wounded and bloodied, could only let out a wry smile and ask, "You really rigged the entire venue with your Flying Thunder God Mark?"
Tobirama replied coolly, "It's one of my private training spots. Having a few thousand Flying Thunder God Seals is only natural."
"I have already made it clear: this is my domain."
Seimei wanted to nod, but he couldn't because of the kunai on his throat. "I see. Understandable."
"So, you admit defeat?" Tobirama asked.
Seimei's lips curled up as he said with a chuckle, "Well, father, I know I can't defeat you yet. So, I will eventually admit defeat today."
Seimei's smile deepened. "Just not yet."
At that moment, the sky suddenly darkened. Dark storm clouds twisted and moved in the sky as they blanketed the sky.
Crackle! Crackle!
Light flashed as thunder roared one by one.
Soon, the frequency of thunder roars increased as streaks of natural lightning flashed in the storm clouds at least a dozen times per second.
The roaring thunder forced Tobirama to look up, and the moment he did, he was stunned.
Puff!
The Seimei beside Tobirama vanished with a puff of smoke, making him realize that it was just another very realistic shadow clone with tons of chakra.
In its place, the real Seimei suddenly appeared out of thin air in the middle of the training ground.
His left hand carried a large concentration of lightning chakra. The purple lightning arcs in his palm somehow controlled the thundering clouds in the sky.
The real Seimei asked, "Are you ready to witness my newest S-rank Jutsu, father?"
Tobirama was stunned for a moment, but he quickly collected himself.
His eyes gleamed with curiosity as he smiled at the thundering sky.
"I see. An interesting technique."
"You couldn't wait to turn our casual sparring into a full-blown natural disaster, huh?"
Hearing Tobirama's question, Seimei only flashed a smile.
The message was clear: Get ready to face it, old man. I am not feeling merciful today.
Tobirama clearly understood the message and smiled back.
"Well, my boy. Bring it on."
