"There's definitely an old soul that lives in you!" Yvonne was well entertained as she touched Kayla's cheeks gently. "You're looking like a little piglet now!"
Looking aggrieved, Kayla's eyes brimmed with tears. She shot a look at Leo, signaling him to help her off.
Without a second to spare, Leo stepped forward and carried her away from Yvonne.
After letting out a chuckle, Yvonne clapped her hands awkwardly as she explained, "Leo, I was just having a little fun with her."
"Let's get Mr. Carter here," said Leo.
"Mom, can you go call Dad instead? I have no idea how to get him to move," Yvonne requested as she looked at Serena.
Serena nodded in response before she gestured for them to go ahead and eat. She then left to call Zach.
"Daddy, godmother is so bad. You have to avenge me!" pleaded Kayla as she tugged at her father's thighs, making Leo carry her in his arms.
