Serena saw through her little act and said, "Well, I would've fallen for it. If only you had better control of your expressions."
"Mom, you know me too well. I can never hide things from you." Yvonne giggled as she leaned on Serena's back playfully.
Serena patted her hand gently and said, "You're so childish. Even Kayla is behaving wiser than you."
"Hehe... But Kayla is worse when she's in front of Zoey." Yvonne raised her chin before she turned to Kayla and said rightfully, "There's no need for us to act like a grown-up in front of our own mothers. Kayla, am I right?"
Kayla stroked her cheek with one finger and said, "Godmother is shameless!"
"Oh? Are you teasing your godmother now?" Yvonne rose promptly to scare Kayla. The latter immediately hid behind Zoey and pleaded, "Mom, help me!"
"Yvonne, is there a three-year-old soul living inside you?" Zoey cackled helplessly.
