[POV: Solenne]
Ruvan, Thalos, and Solenne sat in Ruvan's study together, meeting to discuss their next moves regarding the other packs. She was seated in Ruvan's lap behind his desk while Thalos sat in a cushioned chair, looking through the letters.
"One of the letters is missing," Thalos noted after reading all the others. "Do you have it?"
"I burned it," Ruvan shrugged.
Thalos furrowed his brow, "And why, dear cousin, would you burn an important correspondence before I could read it?"
"Because it was denied," the Alpha sighed. "Thornehowl Pack will not be granted any amicability from us. They're the ones whose mountain I was buried under and ostracized, then later sacrificed, Solenne."
Solenne wrung her hands uncomfortably as he brought it up. She felt it was unreasonable to condemn the whole pack just because most were scared of what they didn't understand. She was scared of him at first, after all.
