After leaving the guild, Leon returned to the library.
The place was quiet when he arrived.
Welf seemed to have gone out, and Hestia and the others were likely in the bathhouse within the inner courtyard.
Naturally, Leon wasn't going to interrupt them. If he barged in, he'd be branded a pervert.
So, Leon headed back to his room and began renewing his Falna.
Earlier that day, after Ais had undergone her angelic reincarnation, Leon took her outside Orario to spar. And what a battle it was.
He had to admit, Ais's talent was monstrous. Freshly reincarnated as an angel, her strength was already comparable to Ottar's.
After having sparred with Tione and Tiona for several days, and adding this bout with Ais, Leon felt confident that his stats were nearing their limits.

Looking at his updated stats, Leon muttered to himself, "As expected... 26 days."
He originally assumed that progressing beyond Level 4 would be a long ordeal. After all, his power had already reached exceptional levels. Continuing to grow would demand challenges far beyond the 58th floor.
Yet, thanks to the angel reincarnation pool and battles with reincarnated angels like Tione, Tiona, and Ais, he managed to rapidly gather experience and push past the threshold.
Without hesitation, Leon chose to level up.
The moment his falna renewed, Leon stepped into the realm of first-class adventurers.
Immediately, he felt it. His base strength now surpassed what used to be his full power at Level 4.
He didn't know his new upper limit just yet, but with everything unleashed—Tenseigan Mode, Hyper Dying Will Mode, Dying Will Flame—he was certain he could reach a normal Level 9 adventurer's output.
"To think I can still cross levels at this stage... Incredible." Leon whispered.
Exiting his power-up state, Leon stood up and left his room, intending to cook dinner. But as he stepped into the hallway, a sudden cry echoed.
"Leon!!!"
A small figure came dashing from the corridor corner. Behind her, Hestia, Lili, and the others chased in vain.
It was Wiene.
Leon hadn't even told her his name yet. Clearly, someone else had. Most likely Hestia or Lili.
Wearing her pajamas, Wiene rushed into Leon's arms, and he instinctively caught her.
"Hmph, Leon, this girl is far too attached to you. She ran to you right after her bath." Hestia huffed.
"Seriously, she can sense where you are like some monster radar." Lili chimed in.
Belle and the others nodded in agreement.
Leon responded with a smirk and a mischievous glint in his eye, "Well, I am kind-hearted."
Everyone: "..."
Wiene was exactly as they said—clingy to the extreme. Despite not being saved by Leon, she was fixated on him.
Even when it came time to sleep, she refused unless she was beside him.
With no other option, Leon discussed arrangements with Hestia, who agreed to let Wiene sleep between them.
The next morning, Leon stayed home from training and remained at the library.
Hestia left to oversee things as usual, and since Wiene was around, Leon didn't bother opening the library to the public.
Instead, he spent the day playing with her in the courtyard.
To Wiene, Leon was family. There was no fear in her eyes—only joy. Running around in the sun, she giggled without a care in the world, her laughter filling the space.
Evening arrived and Hestia returned.
And not long after, so did someone else. A black-cloaked figure stepped into the moonlit courtyard.
"Nice to meet you, Leon. I'm Fels." came the calm introduction.
"Leon. Have you spoken with them?" Leon responded, eyes narrowing slightly.
"Yes. They agreed to meet you. If you're ready, we can leave now." Fels nodded.
"Give me a moment. I'll go bring Wiene." Leon said and walked off.
Fels remained, waiting silently.
Soon, Leon returned with both Wiene and Hestia.
"So, you're Ouranos's mysterious private agent? You do look suspicious enough." Hestia observed with a squint.
"Pleasure to meet you, Hestia-sama. I am Fels." Fels replied with a respectful nod.
"Hestia. Thanks for your help." She responded.
Then she turned to Leon. "Leon, I'll leave Wiene to you."
As soon as Hestia said that, Wiene instinctively tightened her grip on Leon's hand.
She didn't want to leave. Among everyone she'd met, Leon was the only one who had treated her without fear or prejudice.
Even Belle had instinctively reacted with hostility the first time.
Only Leon hadn't.
To Wiene, he was her safe harbor. Her joy. Her comfort.
But she also understood, thanks to everything she had learned over the past few days, that she couldn't stay forever.
So, though she didn't want to go...
She had to.
