The person who appeared was none other than Pain of the Six Paths.
Those purple Rinnegan eyes, like a bottomless abyss, locked onto Jones, Dharma, and Jeo.
Seeing who had arrived, Jeo's pupils shrank uncontrollably.
"T-They're... They're the Kamui Pirates!"
Jones was shocked upon hearing this.
"The Kamui Pirates?!"
Jeo nodded solemnly, fear flashing across his face.
"Pain (Tendo) with a bounty of 970 million berries!"
"Pain (Animal Path) — 965 million berries!"
"Pain (Human Path) — 730 million berries!"
"Pain (Asura Path) — 515 million berries!"
"Pain (Preta Path) — 520 million berries!"
"Pain (Naraka Path) — 1.03 billion berries!"
"All six Pains are here!"
Hearing the list of bounties, Dharma trembled. His pupils widened in disbelief.
"What kind of joke is this?!"
"Even the lowest bounty is over 500 million?!"
"And all of them are here?!"
But despite the monstrous bounties of the Six Paths of Pain, a twisted smile appeared on Jones' face.
"Six against three?"
"Perfect."
"Once I finish you off, I'll deal with the rest of your companions!"
With that, Jones grabbed a handful of the fatal drug and swallowed it.
"Gulp!"
The sound was crisp and clear.
Dharma couldn't help but speak up.
"He's doing it again… taking that deadly drug in one go!"
Jones let out a sinister chuckle. His eyes turned blood-red as veins bulged across his body.
"These are the Sea Emperor's crew!"
"Let's give them a warm welcome!"
However, the Six Paths of Pain standing before them ignored Jones completely.
They calmly scanned the room. Other than the bodies on the floor, the only ones remaining were Jones, Jeo, and Dharma.
Without a single word exchanged, the Naraka Path, Animal Path, and Preta Path turned and walked out of the room.
Seeing this, Jones misunderstood and laughed maniacally.
"Hahaha! What's wrong, humans? Scared already?"
"It's too late to run now..."
But before he could finish his sentence, the Tendo Path, Asura Path, and Human Path Pain moved instantly.
In the blink of an eye, Tendo Pain appeared directly in front of Jones.
Jones' expression twisted in shock. His instincts screamed at him to react.
"This guy…!"
But before he could counterattack, Tendo Pain slashed him across the throat with a blade.
"Pfft!!"
A stream of dark red blood burst from Jones' neck.
In the next moment, his head was already severed—lifted high by Tendo Pain.
Dharma and Jeo froze.
Their eyes widened, and terror overtook their expressions.
"Wh-What just happened…?"
"The boss's head… was taken off?!"
"Are you kidding me?!"
The disbelief was written across their faces.
But those horrified expressions became their last.
Almost immediately after, their heads were sliced off by Asura Path and Human Path Pain.
"Pfft!!"
Even in death, the eyes of Jones, Jeo, and Dharma remained wide open.
Their faces were locked in expressions of fear and despair.
They couldn't believe what had happened.
Their severed heads were casually picked up by the Tendo, Asura, and Human Paths.
And then the three walked out of the room.
Meanwhile, outside on Fish-Man Street...
The entire area was littered with corpses, crimson blood staining the streets.
The strong stench of blood hung in the air.
Where there was once bustling noise — laughter, scolding, trading — now there was only:
The sound of despairing cries.
Screams of anguish.
The tearing of flesh.
Konan's paper clones swept through every alley and corner.
Wherever they passed, no one was left alive.
The same was true for the numerous clones of Madara and Hashirama.
The rest of the Kamui Pirates weren't idle either.
They stormed through Fish-Man Street like an unstoppable wave.
It didn't matter if you were a civilian, criminal, or pirate.
Human, merman, or mermaid—
All would fall before the Kamui Pirates' blades.
Ryugu Palace.
Inside a great hall, Kronos sat calmly in his chair, waiting for reports from his crew.
Albedo had not joined the street-clearing operation, choosing instead to remain at Kronos' side.
Elsewhere in the hall, King Neptune and the three princes — Shark Star, King Star, and Rollover Star — stood, visibly distressed.
Though Shirahoshi, the mermaid princess, had retreated to her room after the earlier attack, Neptune and the princes remained behind.
But their expressions were dark and heavy.
Because what Kronos and his crew had done... was a massacre.
And they couldn't stop it — they could only watch.
As the king of Fish-Man Island and ruler of the Ryugu Kingdom, Neptune couldn't accept the slaughter of innocent civilians.
As for Van der Decken...
To be honest, Neptune and the others had little hope for him now.
They knew the Kamui Pirates would never waste too much time on a small fry.
Their world was vast.
Fish-Man Island was barely a blip on their map.
And Decken had always hidden deep in the ocean — not so easy to catch.
Once the storm passed, the matter would be over.
Just like before...
They could have dispatched a large force to pursue Decken.
But they still failed to capture him.
And now, the Kamui Pirates had only sent one man... to settle it.
