In the bustling market of the Kingdom of Bliss, a man stood in front of a meat stall, asking about prices.
Hearing the price, the man frowned in displeasure.
"Why is your meat so expensive? Just a few days ago it was barely over a thousand!"
The butcher leaned back in his chair and waved dismissively.
"Brother, the world's changed. Have you not seen what's going on at sea?"
"The Summit War not long ago, and the chaos on Fish-Man Island recently, both caused huge uproars. The seas are dangerous now—transporting goods between kingdoms is harder than ever. Isn't it normal for prices to go up?"
"Our Bliss Kingdom is relatively safe, so it's not as bad here yet."
"If you don't believe me, go check out neighboring countries. Over there it's already 10,000 Berries per half catty!"
Hearing that, the man had nothing more to say. The seas truly had become chaotic.
All he could do was mutter under his breath and leave.
The stall owner didn't seem to mind the complaint—it was business as usual in the market.
People continued shopping, buzzing through the stalls, exchanging goods and gossip.
"BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!"
Suddenly, a deafening series of cannon blasts shattered the lively atmosphere.
"What was that?!"
"It came from the direction of the city wall!"
"Is the kingdom's army under attack?"
"I bet it's pirates again..."
The sounds of gunfire brought everything to a halt. People turned toward the source—toward the smoke billowing over the city wall.
But just as they were expecting the usual quick resolution—
A massive dark green beast appeared atop the city wall!
Perched on its back was a cloaked figure in black.
Several egg-shaped bombs dropped from the strange bird and exploded across the wall—blowing open a gaping hole!
The people panicked.
Screams echoed as the crowd scattered. Some even took advantage of the chaos to loot and steal.
That strange bird?
It was Animal Path Pain's summon: the legendary eight-headed Chikushōdō bird.
Off the coast of the Kingdom of Bliss, the Kamui Pirates' ship had been struck by a shell—smoke poured from its left hull.
Kronos stood calmly on deck, staring toward the crumbling city wall.
"They fired on my ship first... returning the favor is only polite."
Behind him, Albedo blushed slightly as she spoke:
"Lord Kronos, they deserve it. How dare those filthy commoners attack you so boldly?"
Gojo Satoru, hands in his pockets, smiled faintly:
"Since they fired first, they should've expected a counterattack..."
It didn't take long.
Under Animal Path's bombardment, the towering wall crumbled quickly.
Then—a sharp cracking sound rang out in front of Kronos.
A dark spatial rift opened, and Kronos stepped in first, followed by Konan and Gojo.
Assac and his team, carrying the Kamui Pirates' banner high, marched in behind with proud faces.
"King Brice! The pirates have breached the wall!"
"WHAT?! Where the hell is the Defense Force?!"
In the throne room of the Bliss Kingdom, King Brice slammed his fist down in rage.
"Call Dosi! If I find out he let pirates rampage unchecked in my kingdom, he won't live to see the sunrise!"
"Y-Yes, Your Majesty!"
The trembling soldier quickly withdrew to carry out the order.
At that same moment, Dosi had just received the report—rushing out of his room, still pulling up his pants.
King Brice's command reached him moments later.
But Dosi? He wasn't worried.
Not in the slightest.
He still had a trump card.
That's why he remained so calm.
"Sir Dosi, should we check the background of this pirate crew?"
His adjutant made a cautious suggestion.
But Dosi scoffed.
"What, those low-life pirates? They just blew a hole in our wall. Big deal."
"With our Bliss Cannon, they're nothing but ants!"
"There's no need to investigate nobodies. Under the might of the Bliss Cannon, they'll be nothing but dust!"
"Prepare the cannon!"
Seeing Dosi's arrogance, the adjutant fell silent and left to carry out the order.
The so-called Bliss Cannon was the pride of the kingdom—built at great expense using secret blueprints acquired from Marine science labs.
Dosi had seen its power in testing.
One shot could obliterate an entire warship.
What was a mere pirate crew compared to that?
Soon, Dosi arrived at the ruined wall.
The Bliss Cannon had already been rolled out and assembled.
But by the time they finished their preparations, the wall had already been flattened by Animal Path's summoned beasts.
The Chikushōdō bird had vanished, dismissed.
Now Kronos stood there—calm and waiting.
"You damned pirates! You've got some nerve to mess with the Bliss Kingdom!"
"But now you'll see our ultimate weapon—the Bliss Cannon!"
Seeing the pirate crew was only a dozen or so people, Dosi felt even more confident.
Raising his voice, he shouted at Kronos and the others, puffing out his chest.
Behind him stood the massive Bliss Cannon, his greatest weapon.
Kronos raised an eyebrow.
Using Observation Haki, he had already sensed the enemy army's movements.
He'd been curious to see what kind of trump card they had.
But now, seeing it was just a slightly oversized cannon?
Kronos sighed in disappointment, clicking his tongue.
"Tch... This is your so-called ultimate weapon?"
