Chapter 216 - 216 Move faster

What Kaido didn't expect was that Whitebeard acted even faster than him.

Almost at the same time that Kronos conquered Dressrosa, Whitebeard made his move—targeting Kronos's territory.

As a result, the situation in the New World grew even more chaotic.

"Boss Kaido, now that Kronos has taken Dressrosa, should we go and take it back first?"

"There's still no word from Big Mom. Didn't we discuss working together to deal with Whitebeard? Why haven't we heard anything from her now?"

King voiced his concerns directly, pointing out the critical issue.

They had previously discussed their strategy together, but now Big Mom's complete silence could only mean one thing: something was wrong.

Big Mom's next move concerned the interests of the Beasts Pirates. It wouldn't be surprising if she had already abandoned their previous agreement, leaving Kaido to act alone.

"Looks like Linlin is planning to abandon the alliance with us and seize Whitebeard's territory for herself."

"Right now, Kronos doesn't control much territory. If we focus on retaking Dressrosa, we might give Linlin the perfect chance to take Honeycomb Island!" Kaido growled.

"Do you really want to watch Linlin expand her territory and grow stronger than us? Do you understand how much treasure is hidden in Honeycomb Island and what it represents?"

Kaido's tone grew serious.

This wasn't just a matter between him and Kronos anymore. There were larger interests involved.

As the captain of the Beasts Pirates, Kaido had to prioritize the power and resources of his crew above all else.

"Boss Kaido is right. We can't let those Big Mom bastards win!"

Queen flexed his mechanical arm, expressing his frustration.

There had always been conflicts between the Beasts Pirates and Big Mom's crew. Queen had fought against Big Mom's commanders more than once—and he hadn't gained much from those encounters.

Now, seeing a chance to turn the tables and get one over Big Mom, Queen was all for focusing on Honeycomb Island—even if it meant ignoring Kronos for now.

After all, aside from Doflamingo's death, there wasn't much direct conflict between Kaido and Kronos yet.

So, for the moment, it wasn't necessary to make Kronos an enemy.

"I'll just follow the orders from the big brothers. I only care about fighting."

"I won't lose in a battle. I'll give it everything I've got!"

Jack declared bluntly.

He wasn't much of a strategist, but when it came to raw combat power, no one questioned his abilities.

"Good. Gather the troops and find out where Whitebeard is."

"If he's on Honeycomb Island, we'll assemble there!"

"This is the New World, not Marine Headquarters. The Marines won't send too many forces here—they can't control this battlefield."

"We'll fight Linlin head-on!"

Kaido roared as he stood up, exuding overwhelming Haki.

A fierce gust of wind swept through the hall, sending many lower-ranked pirates stumbling to the ground.

His presence alone radiated the aura of a true king.

"Boss Kaido is unstoppable! We'll take Honeycomb Island and kill Whitebeard!"

"Yeah! Kill that old man Whitebeard! We, the Beasts Pirates, will be the number one crew!"

"That's right! Boss Kaido is the strongest!"

The subordinates cheered wildly, surrounding Kaido and shouting in admiration.

Meanwhile, the Three Calamities—King, Queen, and Jack—immediately began issuing orders and preparing their respective troops for battle.
