There was no other way.
Honestly, when Whitebeard and the others saw that Kronos had truly sent out only five men, they were stunned.
At first, they thought Kronos was just mocking them—but no, he was serious. He had really sent only five fighters to face them.
At that moment, the Whitebeard Pirates didn't know whether to laugh or be insulted.
Only five people? There was no way they could win!
After all, the Whitebeard Pirates had over twenty thousand men here.
Their ranks were filled with elite fighters—division captains renowned throughout the New World, as well as other famous pirate captains who had gathered for this battle. They were just waiting for Kronos's crew to walk into their own deaths.
Bista, Jozu, and the other division leaders were all formidable warriors.
Even a Marine Admiral would have to go all out to deal with them. Without full effort, they could not only fail to win, but might even suffer a crushing defeat.
So what was Kronos thinking by doing this?
The Whitebeard Pirates couldn't understand it.
"Trash!"
"My lord is here!"
"Have you prepared your last words?"
The voice rang out.
From the Angel of Redemption, a lone figure had somehow appeared atop a tall tree, cold eyes sweeping over the Whitebeard Pirates.
It was Uchiha Madara.
After hearing his words, the Whitebeard Pirates were enraged.
But as their anger settled, confusion took over.
How had Madara gotten there?
It was as if he had appeared in an instant—teleporting.
They hadn't even been able to follow his movement with the naked eye.
Incredible.
"Really, Madara, you always rush ahead," a casual voice called out. "Can't you wait for the rest of us?"
Another figure appeared beside him, just as suddenly.
Gojo Satoru.
Moments later, more figures as swift as lightning shot over from the Angel of Redemption.
Kamado Yoriichi skimmed across the surface of the sea, his feet barely touching the water. He moved so fast that not a single drop splashed onto his body.
It was a display of peerless movement technique—something only the strongest among the strong could achieve.
The watching pirates were left stunned.
Most of them could train their whole lives and never accomplish such a feat.
Senju Hashirama arrived last, and unlike the others, he didn't arrive in a blur of speed.
Instead, he approached at an unhurried pace.
The battlefield around him was like purgatory, with death possibly striking at any second, but he walked as calmly as if he were taking a stroll.
His expression was serene, his steps steady and without hesitation—almost as if this wasn't a battle at all, but simply a casual journey.
"The young ones these days really are reckless… I wonder if I'll live to see the end of this," Bang Gu muttered.
Hunched over, with a kind smile and no visible killing intent, he looked like nothing more than an ordinary old man.
