What was astonishing was that this man—who looked no different from an ordinary old man—suddenly burst out with speed equal to Uchiha Madara and the others. In just a few seconds, he landed on the ground.
A cold light flashed in the eyes of one of the Whitebeard division leaders. To him, Bang Gu looked like the easiest target among the five.
"Kill!"
He was just about to leap forward and take Bang Gu's head when—
Suddenly!
Jozu stepped in front of him, blocking his path.
The Third Division Commander's expression was unusually grave. "Idiot, fall back! That old man is not someone you can handle!
"If you rush in, the one who dies won't be him—it'll be you!"
The rebuked division leader froze, shocked that Jozu would stop him at such a moment.
Others might not sense it, but Jozu could clearly feel the immense power hidden within this seemingly harmless old man.
If Bang Gu unleashed his full strength, it would erupt like a volcano—devastating and unstoppable.
It wasn't just others he worried about. Even Jozu himself couldn't say with certainty that he could win against Bang Gu.
After all, in the previous Marineford War, Bang Gu had already revealed a fraction of his strength. From that, Jozu knew—this old man was no weaker than him. Extreme caution was necessary.
At that moment—
Kronos, still standing aboard the Angel of Redemption, raised a finger toward the sky and declared loudly:
"From this day forward, Honeycomb Island is the territory of the Kamui Pirates!"
Honeycomb Island—known to all as the home of the Whitebeard Pirates!
And now Kronos was claiming it as his own?
Was this not a direct declaration of war?
Before the Whitebeard Pirates could even react, Uchiha Madara made the first move.
"Fire Style—Great Fireball Technique!"
Madara didn't even need to form seals. With a single breath, he released his chakra, condensing it into a blazing sphere of fire.
The fireball—like a miniature sun—hurtled toward the gathered pirates.
Seeing it coming, many of them scrambled to dodge.
But to their shock, the fireball suddenly veered midair, bypassing them entirely—heading straight for Whitebeard himself.
Its trail scorched the earth, leaving behind a line of charred devastation.
Its power was terrifying.
Yet Whitebeard stood there, unmoving, not because he failed to notice—but because he didn't need to lift a finger.
Someone else would deal with it.
Shhh!
"Dare to attack Dad?"
"Do you take us for fools?"
A cold voice came from the sky. A figure wreathed in green flames shot down and, with a single kick, sent the fireball soaring harmlessly upward.
"Oh… not bad."
Uchiha Madara's eyes lit up, as though he'd discovered a new and worthy opponent. The fact that someone had neutralized his attack only made him more intrigued.
