Chapter 82 - Princely Pains

Eadwyn, crown prince of the empire, is highly aware of the expectations placed upon him. It's impossible not to be. He's been raised with those expectations always looming over him. Told that if he's unable to be the type of prince worthy to inherit the kingdom, then the title and all of its expectations will fall to one of his younger brothers instead. As the first-born son, Eadwyn shouldered the burdens placed on him. It didn't seem fair to push the pressure and expectations off to his brothers. Not that he knows if they even want to take the throne now. When Eadwyn made his decision, his brothers were too young to understand the gravity that came with it. Some of them hadn't even been born yet.
