'Demons?!' Sophia yelled her voice showcasing her distraught. The silver haired woman before them, LILTH simply giggled.
'Yes, demons, you seem surprised Miss' said Lilth.
'I mean...who wouldn't aren't demons arch enemies to witches and rained terror on the earth so much so that they had to be locked out?' Lu replied, arms crossed face showcasing his resolve.
'You are right and that's why you are summoned today, You are going to become Champions that can wipe out the demons once and for all' lilith replied her tone showcasing her resolve.
'But aren't they like.... your kids?' Amara asked, confused. Lilith smirked ..
'Let me let you in on a little secret, the reason why i was originally called Mother of demons wasn't because I gave birth to them ..no no , it was simply that i was the first demon to ever exist' she said.
'What?' they all yelled in unison.
'Yes, that's correct, it's common in demons really, I am the first of the thirteen Cardinal Demons' she said smiling, they didn't find this funny.
'Thirteen Cardinal demons?' asked Lu, Amara seemed to be confused too judging by her expression, all except Sophia.
'The thirteen Cardinal demons, first ever demons to exist, they are known to have ridiculously high power and a tremendous amount of magic energy, Lilith also known as Mother of Demons, queen of Lust, the rebellious woman cursed by the creator in her search for equality in the garden of eden. second came Cain, son of eve, first killer amongst humans, the wanderer cursed by God after killing his brother out of Jealousy.
Third came Nebuchadnezzar, the tyrant, the opposer of God, described to be a beast demon.
Fourth came Azazel, the scape goat, also known as the goat demon.
Fifth came Jezebel, queen of deceit, described as the Demon of untrue tongue.
The prince of Persia came sixth he was born from the need of answered prayers, originally a fallen angel.
Seventh was Beelzebub, Lord of the flies, said to be mistaken to satan.
Eight was Dagon, half man half fish, first merperson to exist, lured men to thier deaths.
Ninth came Chemosh, Originally a farmer but because he argued with the believers of Christ and said he needed no help from the creator, he was cursed.
Tenth came Pharaoh, the captivator, the jailer, an expert in Chains.
Then came LEGION, also known as the lowest ranked, but said to be a significant monument after being casted out by the true one.
Then there was Herod, killer of Children, enemy to Infant life.
Lastly is Judas, the betrayer...And there we have it all thirteen Cardinal Demons' Amara and Lu stared with keen interest listening, the lore on demons was quite intriguing.
'I see you are well versed in history' Lilth said still smiling.
'Every other demon you see are low ranks, under our jurisdiction those are the ones that are tearing up the cosmic balance by possessing humans.' she added.
'And these are what Mona Lisa sealed off a thousand years ago?, she really is the most powerful of all time' Amara said, proudly.
'She had help from the MASQUERADES and the ARCHANGEL MICHAEL and even then she couldn't create a long lasting barrier to imprison them' she said.
'i think a thousand years is long enough' Lu muttered to himself.
'What is the relationship between masquerades and Demons anyway?' Amara asked.
'Oh, those? They are spirits born from every concept in the universe, the saying that 'there's a spirit for everything' is true, it comes from them, while some masquerades were mostly positive, some negative ones seemed to side with us but that is a story for another day' Sophia answered.
'Now then, let's get down to business' Lilith was speaking, 'the reason why you were summoned here...' she added but was immediately cut off by Amara.
'Excuse me, if the barriers are weak why haven't you escaped yet?'
'I have no desire for such puny tricks, besides this is my realm, Lisa can't lock me away even if she tried, I am more powerful than that, there is it' Amara quickly nodded to this answer.
'The reason why you are here, is because i need you three to help me get rid of the Cardinal demons for me' She added..
'We? , we can't do that!!' Tuned sophia and a 'Yeah' was heard from her companions.
'But you can... I think deep within the three of you, you know how strong you are... Amara the blessed one, the girl with the ability of Chaos magic, Sophia the intellect whose blood powers grow incredibly day by day and there is Lu blessed by Hecate and Gia themselves, i think we have a full power house' Lilith replied.
'But then again, how ? We are still growing witches' Sophia asked, grunting.
'You have 11 weeks till the next Cosmos shift when the Demons will escape, Learn what you can then, grow in power, defeat your fears only then can you save the world.' Lilith toned, a low rumble sound was heard.
'Its time to go he's noticed you are here' Lilth said in a distressed tone, she was subtly Panicking, with a gentle flick of her right wrist a rift opened in the space behind them.
'Use this portal to get home' she said.
'Uhm...not be disrespectful but where exactly are we?' asked Sophia with a stern look
'You are in hell silly' Lilith answered and without giving them a time to catch thier thoughts, snapped her fingers, the rift charging swiftly at the trio swallowing them up.
