Jack let out a breath of relief. For a Divine powerhouse, as long as the Divine Soul isn't destroyed, they can't truly die.
He had seen Douglas take away Mountain Hunter's Divine Soul before, and he was afraid the same thing had happened to Altair.
Johnnie spoke again, "Jack, tell me—how is your Demon race planning to deal with me?"
"Ah, Master, maybe this is a misunderstanding?" Jack swallowed, fear in his eyes.
