A three-year-old child running out at night, normally, people would be worried.
But in the Stephens family, George Stephens also liked to roam about; the family's ancestral mansion covered a large area, with trees everywhere. He would always manage to find his way back each time he ran out, having a great sense of direction, so he didn't take his outing last night to heart.
But not coming back all night, that's a bit too much.
Robert Stephens slowly smoothed out the wrinkles on his cuff and said to the butler, "Go find him."
The old butler had already secretly looked around once and hadn't found him. Now, with Robert's order, he immediately responded and openly called a few servants familiar with George to go out and look for him.
"Sir, would you like to eat now?"
The servant pushing Robert Stephens asked him cautiously.
The man lowered his lashes, leaving deep shadows on his pale face, "Let's wait for George to come back and eat together."
