Chapter 12 - Chapter 012: What is Doctor Han to Big Brother?

In the hospital room just now, this man leered at her, and now he's trying to chat her up—truly shameless to the peak.

"Sir, I do not know you. Please step aside," Han Xi said with an unhappy expression.

"Once we have a meal together, we'll know each other. Honestly, the first time I saw Doctor Han, I fell in love at first sight."

Can I vomit? This is just absolutely disgusting.

Which mental hospital did this lunatic escape from?

"If you keep this up, Sir, I'll have to call security."

Han Xi bypassed him and took a step forward, not wanting to waste words on this kind of person, but after two steps, her wrist was grabbed by a pair of large hands and she was yanked violently into the man's arms.

"Are you crazy? Let me go."

Han Xi struggled hard to shake off his hand, but due to the overwhelming difference in strength between men and women, her struggle was to no avail.

Lu Jingchen turned around and pinned Han Xi against the wall with a playful tone amidst his not-so-loud gesturing: "Don't be ungrateful. Being favored by me is your good luck."

Han Xi was truly livid; is this person brain-dead and high on the wrong medication?

She raised her leg and fiercely kicked Lu Jingchen in the groin. He held onto the pained area and gloomily raised a hand to hit Han Xi, but his hand was caught with a "creak" in mid-air.

"Who has the audacity to touch me, don't you know I..."

Before finishing his sentence, Lu Jingchen was kicked to the ground and grimaced as he stood up, raising his head, his expression froze instantly.

"Apologize to Doctor Han," Lu Jinghan's deep voice was full of sternness, his defined features were shadowed ominously.

Lu Jingchen, rubbing his kicked and pained abdomen, said with reluctance: "Brother, what is your relationship with Doctor Han? Aren't you overstepping—do you need to interfere with me chasing a woman?"

Lu Jinghan's slightly narrowed, unfathomable eyes turned icy cold, and with another kick—perhaps too forceful—his wound ached, causing his brows to furrow slightly.

"I told you to apologize, stop with the nonsense."

Knowing he's no match for Lu Jinghan, Lu Jingchen could only reluctantly apologize: "Doctor Han, I'm sorry."

Han Xi ignored him and instead helped Lu Jinghan's arm, having noticed the subtle furrowing of his brows after the kick: "How are you, does the wound hurt?"

Lu Jinghan nodded.

"Let's go, I'll check it in the hospital room."

Han Xi assisted Lu Jinghan onto the hospital bed, took out a medical box from the cabinet, bent down, and lifted his shirt. Blood had seeped through the white gauze: "It must've been that you exerted too much force just now, tearing the wound again. I'll apply medicine and re-bandage it."

Lu Jinghan said nothing, his deep eyes lowered, quietly watching the woman bandaging him.

Her high ponytail fell down, with some lock of hair over her forehead; her fair skin looked delicate and soft, carrying a light milky scent—pleasant enough to make him lean slightly forward, wanting to memorize the scent more closely.

"All done, remember not to..."

Han Xi turned her face to give some advice, but her lips brushed against Lu Jinghan's thin lips, the warm and soft touch imparted onto each other, making Han Xi's fair cheeks instantly blush.

"Sorry, Mr. Lu, I didn't mean to," Han Xi awkwardly explained.

Lu Jinghan nonchalantly replied, "Mm."
