Lady Hyde stared blankly at her, seeing the determination in her eyes. The small glimmer of hope that had originally begun to rise gradually cooled down.
She truly had made up her mind to completely sever her relationship with Brandan Hyde.

Sorrow flickered in Lady Hyde's eyes. She nodded and softly said, "I understand..."
Then she watched as Iris Harris went upstairs.
After a while, she followed upstairs as well.

Lady Hyde led Iris Harris into her bedroom, took out her black coat for her, and also fetched a scarf and sun hat.
"Later, you'll wear this to go out." Lady Hyde looked at the clothes on the bed and softly said, "The driver is at the door. You and I have a similar build. The gatekeeper knows I will be out for a banquet tonight and won't suspect you."
