Brandan Hyde turned his head and saw Mother Rulin standing at the door, dumbfounded. He said lightly, "Please clean up the kitchen."
"Yes... yes..."
Mother Rulin wiped some cold sweat from her forehead.
It was the first time she saw someone do cooking as if conducting an experiment in a laboratory!

With the last pot of dish done, Brandan Hyde walked out of the kitchen.
He didn't carry the smell of oil smoke, still emanating his own faint cool fragrance. He carried a thermos bottle and said to Mother Rulin, "I'm staying at the hospital tonight, no need to prepare dinner."
"Alright, I understand." Mother Rulin glanced at the object he was carrying with curiosity and asked, "Is anything wrong with Miss Harris? Is it serious?"
Brandan Hyde turned his head and looked at her plainly.
Seeing his expression, Mother Rulin knew she had spoken out of turn. She shrank back and lowered her head as Brandan Hyde coldly said, "No need."
