Chapter 29 - The Coming Chaos

The gates of Infinity opened with a sound like thunder, and Ken stepped through them with his companions. The endless expanse of light stretched in every direction — a realm beyond mortal comprehension.

Waiting at the edge of that divine horizon stood Lexus, the God of Sword Techniques. His silver hair shimmered like flowing metal, his eyes sharp enough to slice through silence itself.

"I knew you would come," Lexus said, his voice echoing across the vast plains. "The Catastrophic Almighty Enemy has been freed from his seal. Soon, he will rise against the gods themselves. A war is coming, Ken — one that will decide the fate of all realms. It may bring peace… but the kind of peace drowned in so much chaos, it won't feel like peace at all."

Ken stood still, his hand tightening on the hilt of his sword. The air around him felt heavy — as if the universe itself was listening.

---

Far away, within the Seven Cities of Gold, divine bells tolled across skies of molten sunlight. The Seven Star Human Lords had gathered before the gods in the Hall of Divinity — a place so vast that even stars could be seen drifting beneath its golden floor.

One of the Lords stepped forward. His armor gleamed with celestial light as he spoke.

"A hero has risen — one who wields the Ring and the Sword. He has defeated the Entity of Pure Destruction, the Dark Dragon. But because of that battle, the ancient seal that bound the Great Enemy has fractured. The Catastrophic One has returned."

A silence rippled through the hall. The gods' faces grew solemn.

"Yes," one said finally. "We have felt the tremors of that battle. The seal's energy is fading. Though the hero destroyed Destruction itself, he must now face something far greater — the Entity of Pure Chaos."

The words fell like a death sentence.

"Indeed," another Lord said, his voice steady. "He fought Destruction, but now he must confront Chaos — and Chaos always leads to Destruction. This time, we cannot leave him alone. Neither he, nor we, can face such power alone. We must form an alliance — gods, humans, and immortals — or the universe itself will collapse into void."

Six of the Seven Lords nodded in agreement. The seventh entered then — the Wise One, his presence calm, his eyes filled with galaxies of thought.

But not all shared his wisdom. One of the godly brothers sneered, his divine aura flaring.

"How pathetic," he said coldly. "You speak of trusting a mortal? Just because he defeated the Dark Dragon? Do you really think he stands a chance against the Almighty Enemy?"

The Wise One turned to him, voice like ice.

"Then tell me, god of pride — what are your chances? Were you not the one who fled the battlefield the last time chaos struck? You, who trembled before the Dark Dragon? You, who could not even touch the Ring or the Sword — yet you speak of worthiness? How pathetic."

The hall trembled with divine tension until the eldest of the godly brothers raised his hand.

"Enough. Let the Wise One speak." He looked toward the sage with quiet respect. "I agree with him. We must form an alliance with the hero. But tell me — where is he now?"

The Wise One closed his eyes.

"Lexus has sent word. The hero is with him at Infinity, preparing for the coming war. But there has been no messenger, no warning… no sign of movement."

His words had barely left his lips when the gates of the divine palace exploded open.

A blinding blast of force sent armored knights flying through the air. They crashed at the feet of the gods, their golden armor cracked and smoking. From the shattered entrance stepped a dark figure cloaked in shadow — its presence radiating pure evil.

He laughed softly.

"My great lord sends you greetings, O gods of gold and arrogance," he said, his voice dripping with venom. "He commands me to deliver this message: In seven days, he will descend upon your Seven Cities. He will erase your existence — and claim your powers as his own."

The hall filled with murmurs of rage and fear, but the messenger continued, unfazed.

"My lord is merciful," he said with a sneer. "He wishes to destroy you with his own hands, before forging a new dominion — one free of your hypocrisy. Whether you are ready or not, you will face him on the Battlefield of the Universe, the Field of Eternal Chaos — CHAOS ZERO."

He smiled darkly.

"Ironic name, isn't it? But fitting. My lord intends to end all chaos… by annihilating everything that breathes."

And with that, the messenger dissolved into smoke, vanishing from sight.

The hall fell into an unholy silence. The gods stood frozen, their golden thrones trembling ever so slightly.

At last, the Wise One spoke.

"This is worse than I feared. The Demon King, the ancient being who once brought chaos to every corner of the cosmos, has returned — and he comes with his army of hell. We do not yet know their strength… but we will soon find out."

He raised his hand, summoning an ethereal link — a pulse of divine light invisible to all others.

"Lexus," he whispered through the bond, "come to the Planets of the Lords. Bring the Hero of Hope with you. We must meet at once. The time has come."

---

Far beyond all realms, in a place where light and darkness merged into one endless void, a being stirred from slumber.

His eyes glowed with a light darker than shadow itself.

At last, he smiled.

> "So… the time has finally come. I've waited for this moment far too long."
