Looking at them, Kurogami spoke up. "Stop planting yourself right in front of the defender. That makes it too easy for him. So, just slide just a little off his shoulder, into the spot where he's not watching. Now It doesn't mean you go hiding completely, just half a step where his eyes don't reach."
Minato sensei standing nearby nodded, before adding, "Yeah exactly, try making him uncomfortable. If he turns his head, he loses the ball. And, If he keeps his eyes on the ball, he'll lose you. That's where you want to live, in that grey area where he can't track you both."
Kurogami nodded, before continuing "Yeah don't fight with him, don't rush. Stay in sync, breathe with him, move when-"
"Kurogami?"
A faint whisper drifted in from the lounge doorway, slicing through his words and shattering the moment. All eyes turned toward the sound.
Kurogami's head snapped around, finding Raon standing at the threshold. Disbelief shadowed his features, laced with a flicker of fear and unease.
